House is perfect for a quiet retreat. The stairs are a little scary (narrow/steep) but after time they seem normal.
Love it and look forward to coming back!

Lovely rustic “camp”
Publié le 13 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayIn Maine we call our little cottages on the lakes “camps.” They are rustic, pretty much one season only use, and most maine-owned camps haven’t changed much since the 20s. This place is wonderful example. I don’t mean that it’s rundown or anything like that. It’s well-kept and maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in a fantastic spot. The owners are nearby, and good people.

Nice rustic cabin in a very quiet area.

It’s definitely a rustic cabin, but that was what we were looking for....an authentic Maine lake cottage. The neighbors were great and the owners who live next door were friendly too. The only negative was that the bathroom shower was kind of icky. Nice dock in front where we put our boat and clear water.
