The view are excellent. The cookies the owners provided were gone in a flash. It was a whirlwind weekend and we left wanting to spend more time there! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Nice getaway close to the lake.

Cabin on the lake

Nice property for short stay, very close to the lake. One sink was very slow draining and the shower door was not working properly. Other than those two things everything was fine. Would have preferred a charcoal or gas grill rather than an electric grill. We did experience problems with a rebate for one night because we stayed one day less than originally booked.

Family gathering

Great place to get together. Beautiful scenery, nice and quiet. Hostess was available by phone to answer our questions about property. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to see scenic Van Buren county.

Just what the Dr ordered. :)

After a hectic summer, my wife and I needed a quiet get away. This was the perfect quiet place in the middle of beautiful, and historic Van Buren county. It is centrally located from a lake, state park and all the wonderful things the county has to offer. Adrienne (our host) was excellent to work with. We highly recommend the place. :)

Great place to stay

My husband and I stayed here, and loved it! We could've easily had our kids stay too, as there were enough beds, and a well-stocked kitchen for us to make our meals there. Very friendly and helpful interaction with Adrienne when we arrived. Highly recommend!

We slept 6 adults with no issues. Jeremy and Andrienne (your hosts) are the nicest people you'll meet. Full kitchen, fireplace, wifi, comfortable beds, well cared for, big kitchen table, I could go on and on. If you enjoy peace and quiet with a great view this is perfect, yet close enough to plenty of other things to do. A stones throw from the lake with a boat ramp in walking distance. Located in the middle of an outdoors enthusiasts paradise. You will not be disappointed. Will for sure stay here again!

Had a great time!

The house was very nice and everything was very clean and orderly. The hosts were very friendly and gave us some ideas and pointers for our stay and answered all our questions. It felt very private and the patio and deck were beautiful! A great price for a nice house right near the lake, only about a 30 sec drive or a few minutes walk. The only downside was the shower. It is very small and the water heater is on demand so several times it ran out of hot water during a shower! Didn't ruin the weekend by any means, we just learned to go faster LOL

Lovely space- very comfortable!

We were wanting an enjoyable weekend getaway- and that is exactly what we got! The apartment is comfortable and inviting and Van Buren County is a fun place to explore. Love that this place on the lake and at the doorstep of the state park with lots of walking trails and wildlife. We would come again!
