Riverside sits in extensive private mature grounds with its own private jetty on the banks of the River Derwent (bring your canoe's and swimming trunks).
Nestled just below the Jaws of Borrowdale and within Wainwrights favourite square mile in England's prettiest valley . There are 360 degree mountain views with a myriad of high and low level walks from the door . Various hotels and cafes within 10/15 minutes walk .
Abundant wild life ,deer ,the occasional otter and rarer red squirrel ( not recently) plus Kingfishers... All pictures are taken from our grounds or of our grounds.
Riverside is all on one level with a gradual slope leading to the front door and then one 6 inch step. Many guests have been visiting annually for over 10 years .
Riverside is strictly for a maximum of 4 guests at any one time . Please note our cancelation Policy is a full refund if we can re-let with a ÂŁ50 admin fee .
Sorry - No pets - Smoking or fishing in our grounds .
