We have been staying with The Southernmost Inn adults only for many years. The staff is top notch and will do anything they can to help you with your accommodations. They have helped us switch rooms after we arrived and realized I got my booking wrong. I now call the resort directly for accommodations because they are so friendly! I tell my friends and family that it’s like going home. You will find some imperfections due to the buildings being older but it is a lovely location with a super friendly staff. Also very close to all of the fun spots. Duval is just a short walk away. Continental breakfast is good. The heater for the pool broke when we were there and they had a replacement 2 days later. The staff told us that they hadn’t been made aware. As soon as she was told she was on the phone to have it fixed. She was upset that no one had made her aware before that. Again, great customer service and a beautiful place to get away.

The Terribly Overpriced Southernmost Inn

The Inn offers no means other than a pathetically inadequate breakfast buffet. The location at the end of Duval Street is a good one, but the Inn itself demands a resort fee without offering any resort services. The front desk could not be more unfriendly. Travelers should look elsewhere.

Not the best

Make sure you're booking the correct "Southernmost" hotel...this is the much smaller, older, more cramped one across the street from the much nicer option of almost exactly the same name. Issues: only the first 6 people who arrive each day can park at the hotel, the rest have to pay $25 in order to park about 2 blocks away in a completely unsecured lot; any but the first floor rooms are up one or two extremely steep, narrow, dangerous staircases (no elevators)...make sure you get a first floor room -- you *cannot* go by the room numbers, as some of the ones in the 100s are on the 3rd floor; the hotel itself is dated and cramped, with just some kind of illogical room layouts...wouldn't recommend unless it's your only option.

The properties was in a great location to walk to Duvall St. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Only downfall we experienced was the bed, it seemed to be broken and was uncomfortable! I would highly recommend staying here!

Nice place!! Parking does cost and you’ll pay an amenities fee upon arrival. Other than that it was clean , nice pools, and happy hour with wine and cheese. So close to bars and shops!

The people smoking in the pool and next to us in the pool chairs. They should have a designated smoking area and have it posted. Also, come around and tell people that there is NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND THE POOL. Not sure I’ll book again because of this. This is our second time here in 8 months. Love it, but I have asthma and had to leave the pool and go back to my room because of the lack of workers dealing with this issue.

Great property love the old feel, didn’t realize it used to be a cigar factory before. The pools are so nice and the property was adorable. Very close to the action of key west. The staff were so friendly and kind. Very clean.

We loved that the pool and hot tub were open 24/7. We also enjoyed that it is a 21 place. Very spacious and quaint. The bathrooms in the rooms need some shelves and same with the showers. The moisture level in the rooms made the floors and bedding "sticky"/damp. The ceiling fan/light has a switch to turn it off which i suggest you turn it off at night because it also has a remote to operate it and so do your neighbors. Waking up to a lights on/off battle at 6:30am wasn't fun.

3 story in main part....steep, narrow stairs to 3rd floor, no elevator, no bellhop. Asked if they had parking they said yes. Got there and to get free parking had to have handicap decal otherwise parking an extra $25 a nite. Only one staff smiled at me in 1 week the rest acted like I was a bother. I cut my visit in half, even though money was not refundabe but, as a senior, could not do the stairs anymore. Now they do have 1 level accommodation but super priced and they had wider stairs out back but had to go up 6 risers to get to 3rd floor. Just couldn't do it anymore. When I left I threw my hanging clothes bags down the stairs too much for me to carry them down concerned about the fall factor.
