The staff was very friendly, the location was prime to local hotspots, and the room had ample basic amenities. The Wifi cut out and was slow, the heating / cooling was complicated, and the area could be loud sometimes due to the location.

Stay was quick, easy, near businesses, and comfortable. Appreciated the side view of MT. Rushmore. Had a friendly check in process, with a clean room. However, house keeping barged in after I said “no, thank you!” while I was getting ready. Pretty ridiculous and unsettling. Convenient stay but put up the do not disturb sign.

Hotel was right in the town of keystone south dakota very comfortable great staff great location up on a hill could see mt. Rushmore right from the hotel beautiful view Was able to walk down to the town in minutes and shop, look around and enjoy music playing through outside speakers and check out the eats wonderful!!!

The 5 stars is for the front desk lady in the morning. She's warm and welcoming. I hesitated about the tunnels at Needles Highway but with her warm assurance, I drove one of the memorable drives in Custer State Park. Needles Eye wasn't as narrow as I thought. The motel and the room were dated. I personally don't like beds with those old school coverings. That said, I would stay there again. The motel is in a very convenient location; virtually at the foot of Mount Rushmore. Restaurants are within walking distance but shops close early including the gas station store next door.

Parking was difficult because we arrived late and the parking although designated for the hotel was shared by a bar/restaurant next door. Needed to have a way for security to ask guests or the bar to please move their cars for guests of the hotel. Other parking options were across the street. Not helpful if you're disabled. Need more ada rooms.
