Inadequate Parking
Publié le 11 déc. 2023 sur HotelsWe confirmed about two weeks prior to arrival and reminded them we had a truck and trailer. Upon check-in, we were told we had to park vehicles on the hill across the street. This was not part of the reservation information.
We had stayed "on the hill" before and it did not have adequate parking. We were told we could try to park down the road at an open lot which had no one to assist us or take payment (at our expense). There was only a standard mailbox with no contact information. This was the alternative since we were only permitted one parking space at this hotel. There were no other services provided so we canceled the reservation and scrambled to find somewhere else to stay. This hotel is not recommended when there are large events in the area (The Sturgis Rally).

It was nice and close to everything we visited on our trip. The staff were very friendly. Continental breakfast was available on one of the days we stayed but then was not the other day. The kids enjoyed the pool. The room was a little small, but we made it work.

Breakfast offering was meager, refuse containers were full & attendant didn't care.
