Spectacular Coach House on The Doorstep of Killarney National Park, The Priory

Built in 1822 the beautifully restored Priory Coach House and Courtyard to The Priory Killarney Courtyard Cottages. The Coach House has two floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, the downstairs is an open plan with wood burning stove, modern kitchen, spiral staircase to the bedrooms. Very charming and cozy. Walking distance from the town centre.

Set on the door step of Killarney National Park we have four Courtyard Stone Cottages all of various design and layout. The cottages are tucked into a very beautiful and quite walled courtyard setting.

Just a 5 minute walk to the INEC - Gleneagle Hotel.
Also a 5 minute walk towards town is the Killarney Brewing Co.

The coach house is beautiful! Big enough to have your own space, but cozy at the same time! The owners were very kind and helpful with any we had, and the heated floors downstairs were perfect for chilly mornings and evenings. The fireplace was also a great bonus, and the walk into downtown only took 15-20 minutes. Close to so many natural attractions (via car). Great place, we would definitely stay there again!

Staying at the Priory was picturesque. The location was perfect for walking or driving into Killarney and being right on the Ring of Kerry and within walking distance to Lough Leane. Tim and Bernadette were lovely hosts. The cottage sits behind their main house but felt like we had all the privacy we needed. There are some nice features to the cottage, including heated tile floor on the bottom level, nice for those chilly Ireland mornings. The fireplace provided ample evening heat. Both bedrooms have nice sized bathrooms. A couple of things that could have been better, the kitchen utensils and pots could use some replenishing or replacing. The cottage seems to be an older building which gives it a lot of charm but does mean the wood floors upstairs squeak quite a bit and there was a bit of an echo that carries up the stairs. It made it difficult to be quiet for our friends staying in the other bedroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice property. Pets on site were a plus. House has no heat after 6/1 so one night/morning a little chilly. House did have a little must/smokey aroma but it is an old home with stone & wood-stove so I guess to be expected. Beautiful grounds and house had so much character.

The house was fantastic. Great location for getting to town and the national park. The house grounds were beautiful with all of the flowers bloooming as well. Check-in was smooth and Tim gave us tips on how to get around easily durning our stay.

Killarney is a lovely town to stay in and is beautiful in its own right. It also provides a wonderful base while you explore the region and take in day trips such as the ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsular and the surrounding villagesTim and Bernadette have created a little bit of magic I thier Priory and was such a comfortable place to come home to after a day of site seeing. It was spacious enough for the five adults in our family, was so clean and well presented we felt very much at home.Tim and Bernadette were great hosts who were there if u needed a chat or advice but also new the value of family holidays and privacy.A great stay and thank you very much

My family of five loved our stay at the coach house. Bernadette and Tim were accessible, helpful, and a wealth of knowledge about the area. We were able to explore Killarney park, walk to town, and it was a perfect base for day trips to other locations. Highly recommend! The cottage was clean, well-stocked and spacious. Thank you!

Beautiful site! Our hostess was very helpful in recommending places to visit, dine, and provided maps. Accommodation was exactly what we hoped for, clean, comfortable, with expected amenities provided. This is a central location to Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Kerry, Toric Falls, etc.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at the Priory for four nights for a work trip. We were working in the forest all week and it was great to come back to a warm wood stove and excellent jacuzzi / shower. We also made use of the washer and dryer provided.

LOVED IT!!

We immediately fell in love with The Priory! It is exactly what we were looking for in a cozy cottage in Ireland. The owners were very helpful and were right on property if we needed anything. Of course, their pups were one of the highlights of our trip. We couldn’t wait for Teddy, their Cocker Spaniel to visit our cottage each morning. Staying here was like a welcomed step back in time and a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage was nestled away from the town, but close enough for a quick drive or a 15 min walk. We miss the cottage already, and would absolutely love to return some day if we get back to Ireland. This is a must stay!!

Lovely stay in Killarney!

Beautiful home in Killarney. It was perfect for our needs especially with our 1 year old with the crib and high chair and large bath tub. Close walk into Killarney with lots of pubs, restaurants and shops. Thanks to Tim and Bernadette!
