350m from beaches, pub and charming village of Hope Cove

A cosy holiday property located on the edge of the charming fishing village of Hope Cove, 350 yards from 2 beaches, the SW Coast Path, village pub, bistro bar and shop.

The property can sleep up to 4 comfortably in two bedrooms (a double and a twin), with an additional room that can be used for dressing and extra storage. There is an open plan kitchen, living, dining space with an adjoining shower room with toilet and basin vanity unit. It is very light thanks to full width windows revealing beautiful views across its own shared lawn to the valley opposite.

Part of a small holiday property development, it is well provisioned with all you require, including dishwasher, good sized fridge freezer, microwave, electric hob, double oven and grill, Nespresso machine and milk frother, smart TV and DVD player and complimentary broadband. There is a baby chair as well as children's cutlery and plates and a baby bath. In addition there is a shared laundry room with coin operated washing machine and dryer c.20 yards from the front door. Bed linen and bath towels are provided as well as a hand towel and bath mat in the bathroom, tea towel and oven gloves, washing up liquid and clean dishcloth and scourer. We ask for guests to provide their own beach towels.

The property is set within two acres of delightful lawned shared grounds. The gardens are largely informal, with communal barbeque area and picnic tables and large lawned areas, great for playing games. The property is 1 of 3 similar properties at the rear of the development which enjoy shared use between them of a lovely semi-enclosed lawned section of the garden. Access to the property is via 2 small sets of steps from the car park. Parking is available for one car (please contact us if a second car is required as this can be accommodated).

Hope Cove is a wonderful village and has all that you need for a relaxing holiday by the sea. One of the delights is being able to park the car and not need it again for the rest of your stay, however if you want to explore the area there is more than enough to keep you entertained with incredible walks, pubs and restaurants and interesting nearby towns like Salcombe and Dartmouth.

The cottage was beautifully designed and furnished. In a beautiful location, we had the sea and rolling hills of the countryside right on our doorstep. Listening to the Tawny owls at night was amazing and the whole garden lit up by the moon. The village pub was very accommodating too serving great food. We unfortunately all fell victim to the flu so could not explore the area as much as had hoped, so we are definitely planning to return to this stunning part of the world.

Overall good value..good location easily walkable to hope cove beaches where there are pubs/cafes etc.. the parking is fine also and I have a big car..the outside communal space is the real highlight so good for kids so can play football cricket etc..the aprtment itself is fine bathroom is quite small but shower is fine. We had a couple of little niggles but the owners were very quick to respond and resolve which was good. A Small thing the towels are vey small and you only get one each and if there for a week its not enogh so i think they could provide a few more.. its not fancy but good value

Gorgeous mini break

We loved our stay. The chalet was bijou but very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was wonderful outdoor space and lots of games for the kids . We could walk to the beach in only a few minutes. We highly recommend.

This is a lovely property and well equipped, and very well located in Hope Cove. Good food in the village and lovely walks. The only downside is that the location of the property on site is not obvious as there is another No.3. The guide book once inside the property explains the location! help!

Great little holiday cottage

We had a lovely stay in the cosy cottage for three nights - once inside it is well laid out with everything you need and tastefully furnished. Lovely views out over the countryside and being no 3 at the end of the row no one walks pass you, so more private than the other two. Really useful fields to wander round which our dog enjoyed and ideally situated being a very short stroll into Hope Cove. We had a wonderful time and the sun shone ☀ what more could you ask for!

Excellent property for relaxing break

Absolutely incredible property, very clean, everything you need was available. The beds were really comfortable, rooms were spacious & everywhere was fully equipped. Bathroom was spotless with a lovely wslk in shower. We took my 82 year old mom, to get to the property there is a steep slope followed by very steep steps down so not ideal for people with mobility issues, i think this needs to be mentioned in the advert. Having sayd that once you're down there the property is easy to get around. Walking to the beach would also be an issue for people with mobility issues as its down a hill with no pavements. Overall it's a perfect little getaway though with stunning views.

Basic but perfect

A great position near lovely beaches. Although the grounds were communal it was spacious and well maintained. The property was as expected and all that was required for our holiday. Without the sun, activities would have been limited but great for walking and we witnessed some spectacular sunsets!

Perfect for relaxing coastal getaway

Lovely accommodation with everything you’ll need for a well needed getaway. Within a few minutes walk of the Hope Cove beaches and coastal walks. Our stay was only for a few days but would be well suited to longer stay and we hope to go back to do just that.

Great Find, Five Minutes Walk to the Beach!

This property is very comfortable and immaculately clean with everything needed for a short stay. The decor is on a blue and white theme and there is plenty of light streaming through the windows. Our dog enjoyed the outside space which consisted of a large, grassed area and when we stayed, it was surprisingly private. Picnic tables, deck chairs and parasol all available. The only thing the cottage lacked was a sea view. The village of Hope Cove with two beaches, was only five minutes walk from the property and the coast path ran through the houses, so great for families, walkers or those after the coast. The village also boasts several good places to eat and a friendly post-office/store with a place to tie up your dog outside. We loved Hope Cove and the property. Hope you do too!

Long weekend in Hope Cove

We had a great time staying in the cabin. It’s very well located in Hope Cove. Just a drive away from Dartmoor National Park and a hike or short drive away from Salcombe. It was wonderful to stay at!

'bolt hole'

Very peaceful, lots of thoughtful touches and well equipped. Just one small issue. Driving out of car park - can the grass bank to the right be cut right back regularly. It is a total blind spot.

Highly recommend

Hope Cove is a lovely place and this is the ideal home to stay in. It's got all the things you need, is charming and comfortable, with a beautiful large garden and is a 3 minute walk down to the life at the beach. What more can you ask for? I would not recommend arriving late at night, as it's not simple to find unless you've established exactly where it is before setting off (Google maps sent us to a post box near by). Great communication with the owners when I stupidly lost the key, which gives good peace of mind. Will definitely stay again.

Homely accommodation in a fantastic location

3 Brook Cottage is a well equipped, small & cosy place to stay. Yes it is small but it has comfy beds, hot shower and a well equipped kitchen including a nespresso coffee machine. You look out to a beautiful outdoor space too. Hope Cove is a hidden gem and is absolutely beautiful. 2 beaches, 2 pubs, a fantastic art/craft shop and a general store what more do you need?

Great Cottage and location

Lovely well appointed cottage with all the facilities you need. Comfortable beds great views on to the countryside. Nice and quiet with large grounds. Parking on site. 5 minute walk to the beach and some great eating places.
