Tour the city by day and by night get cozy by the firepit, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, tea... Stars gazing and making sâmores in our private back yard! Spending time @The Present, the moment and the now with someone special!! Collecting memories will last a life time!!
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as pictured and the home was very clean (I have high standards!). The owner was wonderful. My only hiccup was the map on the listing makes it seem like the home is on the side of the river nearest Lindsey Nelson Stadium. It is not. It is on the east side of the river so you have to go north and over the Henley St bridge everytime you head downtown. Something to keep in mind. It's not super inconvenient. Just something we didn't realize.
Two Momâs stayed, and it was perfect for us! We each had a private bedroom and and a private bathroom. The property was close to campus. The house was clean and decorated nicely.
Had issue with front door lock but owner was very responsive and sent someone to fix it. The yard was overgrown and noisy at night with the nearby train tracks. The interior was nicely decorated and upgraded which really is what is most impt
Overall nice place. Prefer curtains in kitchen. Wasn't able to message owner and sent email about power outage which resolved itself quickly but would have been nice to have gotten a response.
Lodging for an event at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium
A great little house furnished with all the necessities. Close to the University in a quite neighborhood with a park across the street. The fire pit was great for a relaxing night with good family time and conversation. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, quaint and well appointed! Great stay in a convenient location. Easy to get in and out. We were dropping our daughter at UTK- appreciated the extra space for staging and washer and dryer! Lovely hosts and will definitely return.
This stay restored my faith in VRBO rentals. Trinh has thought of every detail! It felt like staying at a friend's home. The home was spotless! We used the pull out sofa and there weren't even any dust bunnies hiding there. The beds were comfortable, showers lovely, and the decor was calming. My three sons, my mother, and I stayed and it felt comfortable enough for us. The pictures don't do this sweet place justice. We enjoyed playing in the park across the street and watching the beautiful sunsets. The boys enjoyed seeing the trains go by. The neighborhood was very quiet. I was attending an orientation at UTK and the drive to campus was less than 10 minutes. I cannot recommend this highly enough! We will stay again. Trinh should give training sessions on how to be a terrific host!!!!! Stop searching and book this!
Came to Knoxville with my husband and our prospective UT student/ daughter. The little house is across the river from downtown Knoxville, 5 minute drive. The campus and the fun restaurants and entertainment area, Market St, etc. is conveniently close.
The house is across this quiet little street from a cute lilâ park right on the river. Fantastic sunsets from the park across the river. The back yard is cute with its fire pit sitting area. There is a rail road track nearby, but we only heard the train a couple of times, no big deal. The home is adorably updated and very comfortable for a small group. The Keurig didnât work our first morning, but Trinh took care of it while we were enjoying the town-wonderful! The Present is a great little property to stay in when visiting Knoxville.
The communication with the property manager was excellent! This charming little cottage was perfect - close to the downtown area, yet just enough away to feel cozy! Loved the updated decor and the fire pit was a fantastic place to unwind each evening!
We loved this place. It's beautiful, clean, quiet and it's in a fantastic location, close to downtown. We had a great family getaway doing some nearby hiking and relaxing together in the house. I would definitely stay here again!
We came down for just a two or three-day getaway. The house is right across the street from a nice but simple Park. The neighborhood wasn't incredibly well lit and this house was the only rental on this street it seemed. Great host and experience.
