Nice room, but two scams
Posted Feb. 28, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: Nice room
Cons: Homesty please. Do not cheat us.
Location: Quiet beach. Srithanu is close by and more action there, but hard to walk to. I advise remting a scooter if you stay in this area.
This was a stay in a lovely room, reasonably priced. Staff were initially friendly and nice, but there were two separate incidents of trying to rip us off of money. First, They charged me at the bar for a drink I did not order. Coupd be a mistake, but I highly doubt it. Then, when my friend went to renew the room (I had paid initially and he arrived later, so I think they assumed he did not know the rate), they attempted to charge him an extra 500 baht. When he pointed this out, they said, Oh we forgot to give you another 500. I do not find either "error" to be credible. It really changes things when someone is repeatedly trying to rip you off. This has happened quite a few times in Thailand on this trip, but frequency does not excuse attempted theft. Naturaly there has never been one incident of someone 'accidentally' undercharging.
Please Thai people stop trying to steal from Farangs! We will not smile warmly at you after you try to steal from us. It ruins everyhing.

Sweet spot
Posted Nov. 29, 2015 on ExpediaWe enjoyed our stay. The beach beautiful sand and clear water which although not the best for swimming was great for pictures. The room itself had all the necessities. I enjoyed the quiet secluded nature. For the price it's worth it.

In pratica l'offerta è piuttosto basic.

Posted Feb. 11, 2017 on HotelsDas Hotel Liegt direkt am Haad Yao Beach.
