Staff was very kind. I came in around midnight and they made sure someone kept an eye out for me juat in case I got lost. Excellent dinner recommendations and they made the reservation for me. Very cozy. The stairs are a bit steep for anyone who has accessability issues

My friend and I stayed here for the week after New Years. It was really, really lovely. The other guests were very friendly, and the staff were extremely helpful as well. The guesthouse itself is conveniently located (one train stop away from Sannomiya) and there's a supermarket not far away if you wish to use the guesthouse kitchen. The accommodations and bathrooms were comfortable, with female-only facilities as well. Guesthouse MAYA is a relaxing, chic place to spend your time in Kobe. Perhaps you'll meet some new friends too!

Good place for a nights rest.

It was clean, simple, and exactly what I needed. If you have movement issues, don’t stay here as the stairs are steep and there’s no elevator. But the bed areas were comfortable, showers were big, and owner was helpful and happy.

I have stay there for one night. Everythings for me is good. Very Friendly staffs and warm welcome also near to Nada Station. You can enjoy local life around hostel. If i have a chance to go back to Kobe, surely i will stay there^^

Great staff, ok location

Staff were extremely helpful, offering good ideas of things to do and places to eat. Room was clean. Facilities were modern. The location was near NASA station which is useful for the JR visa. Hostel is near a train track so it can be noisy until 00.30. Be careful of charges for late arrival and if you overstay the check out time.

Beautiful experience

This stay in the Guest House Maya was one of the most beautiful experiences I have had so far. The staff is very kind, warm and attentive, I was able to chat with many residents, each one nicer than the next.
