The only thing this resort has going for it is that it’s right on the beach. The grounds are pleasant, but that’s where the positives end.
The rooms are dated and poorly maintained. My bathroom had a stained toilet seat, mildew in the shower, discolored caulking, and stained walls. The room also had mosquitoes due to poor door seals. Resort Wifi did not work most of the time I was there.
The food at the restaurant was underwhelming and overpriced for the quality. There were also not enough chaise loungers on the beach or around the pool, making it difficult to relax during busy times.
The biggest issue was the service. The front desk staff were consistently cold and unfriendly — no greeting, no smile, and no offer to help with bags. It felt like I was inconveniencing them. This attitude was the same at check-in and check-out. Restaurant staff also gave off a bad vibe.
They also forgot to return my 2,000 baht cash deposit, forcing me to take another taxi back after I had already paid 500 baht to leave.
I am currently staying at another resort on the island, and the contrast is striking — warm greetings, smiles, and genuine hospitality. That difference has made it even clearer how poorly I was treated here.
This is nowhere near a 4-star experience. At best, it’s a 2-star property with a great beach location.
