All around solid rental

It's nicely updated with great Hawaiian / Koa wood accents and touches throughout. You get a decent vantage of the ocean sitting on the lanai and from the living room sofas. We were here last week of June / first week of July. You could catch some of the sunset from the property, just a short 30 second walk from the lanai. Pool area is nice, has one charcoal grill. Other two gas grills are next to the tennis /pickleball courts. That's the main ding -- wish the BBQ set up was better. Felt more like a tuck in with it being put in a corner, essentially in the parking lot, next to the courts. Courts were great, we used them nearly everyday--can just walk on or call and reserve, we had no issues walking on. Wish there was AC in the entire unit, but the one in the bedroom is nice. Two bathrooms for a 1 bedroom actually turns out to work really well. Has beach chairs and beach umbrellas and a small cooler. Kitchen is really well stocked with utensils and dishes, but lacks any pantry staples beyond salt and pepper. Overall, the rental was clean and spacious. Some of the blankets n such that were in the dressers / cabinets smelled a little musty--wish they were clean off the bat. Good washer and dryer set up with provided tide pods, very convenient and helpful. Get/bring bug spray, you'll be pretty much fine on the lanai but if you walk towards the water, you will be instantly greeted by many bugs. Nice smart TV set up in the living room.

This is our second time at Poipu Kapili and again, we had a wonderful time. This unit has a view of the pool a great view of the sunset. Everything was set up for a wonderful stay. Can't wait to come back.

Fabulous spot!!

This condo was great! The views are fantastic! The location to activities on the island is just perfect! We are a family of 4 and the condo had everything we needed! Kitchen was great. It was more spacious than the pics reflected. Pool was very nice. Had lots of extras like a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots of towels! Ground level was great for our family with a yard, and easy access to pool and ocean! Loved the walking area and views of the ocean! It was a very pretty view! Management company was very responsive and answered everything we asked quickly and efficiently!

Beautiful property - condo as advertised - very comfortable, located near shops, restaurants and golf. We have been to Kauai several times - this was our favorite accommodation so far.

Beautiful location and wonderful condo

This is our second stay at Poipu Kapili but the first time in unit #49. i think it's the best location in Poipu. The views are astounding and the grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The condo was spacious, clean and situated perfectly to walk out to the pool or the ocean from the wonderful lanai. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped with utensils - although it would have been nice to have some basic cooking staples other than salt and pepper. Both bathrooms are also updated and very nice with excellent shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and cream available. The pictures are accurate - the place is lovely!! We rented this unit because it had air conditioning in the bedroom. The only reason I'm not giving our stay 5 stars is because the air conditioner broke down after our first night and leaked water all over the bedroom. The property managers were on-the-spot and helpful but the problem wasn't resolved during our stay since they had to order a new air conditioner, which arrived the day we checked out. We were kindly refunded a portion of our stay for the inconvenience. The location is perfect - within walking distance not only to the beach and luscious walking paths but to a wonderful shopping village with great restaurants and stores. We're golfers and there are several courses nearby. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends! Mahalo!
