Good hotel, good location

We booked this hotel because we had stayed in the Chisun hotel in Utsunomiya, although this one was very nice it wasn't as good and comfortable as the previous one. I would stay here again

Decent business hotel near Koriyama Station

The location was perfect for me, just a block from the Koriyama JR station. It's convenient to catch an early train from the station, close enough to shopping, supermarket, restaurants, bars and other conveniences The hotel looks well maintained, clean, with welcoming lobby. There is a 7-11 store next door as well. I got a single room which was quite standard of a single room in a business hotel in Japan. No frills. The free wifi was strong.

Good stay, convienient for station.

The rooms were small but clean and perfectly good enogh. The hotel was 5 mins walk from the shinkansen and conventional rail station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Good breakfast, nice staff.

Tight space and smelling bthroom

An order coming from the bathroom, probably from the sink, was unbearable. Tiny space of the room may be proportional to the price did not give me an impression of any good deal.

Good location

was really nice. I was surptised about how well it was maintained and how nice the staff was. I really liked it. The bed was terrible as it was too hard for us spoiled americans. Over all the atmosphere was great and the neighborhood nice. It was not hard to find and very close to the train station. I would recommend it to people who want an off the main drag view of the city and get to see what it and it's people are really like. Nice!!!.

I have stayes in hotels all over japan and these ones are smaller than most of the singles. But clean and single is fine for 1 person. Can't beat location

Overall it is a good hotel. Breakfast was good. Hard to find initially, but once located it was very convenient. Only real complaint is that the bed is very hard and one male employee was very rude.

Surprisingly good

Read some so-so reviews before booking this hotel. In the end, it was much better than expected. Excellent location, larger than average rooms, and comfortable stay generally. Only disappointment was the slightly lower than average cleanliness of the rooms (we had 2).

Stinky rooms

Early check-ins or late check-outs will incur substantial fees. The rooms on different floors smell -- it's a combination of a sulfur and sewage smell. These are very basic and tiny rooms, typically for a budget Japanese hotel but unless every other decent hotel in Koriyama is full there is no reason to stay here.

Koriyama Overnight

A typical Japanese business hotel. Small but clean rooms, small but well-appointed bathroom. Buffet breakfast was so-so. Big advantage is that it is only a three minute walk to the JR East station.
