With three beautifully furnished bedrooms and one pristine bathroom, comfort and ease are guaranteed in every corner of this home. The house comes complete with a private entrance, secure parking for one vehicle, and a welcoming single-level layout, making it suitable for guests of all ages.

This beautifully restored cottage built circa 1904 is set in magnificent cottage gardens, only minutes' walk from the thriving Korumburra township. Retaining many of its original features including polished floors throughout, and amazing 12-foot-high, pressed-metal ceilings, it also has all of the modern comforts of home. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, it has everything you need for a perfect getaway in the country.

Each bedroom radiates a warm and inviting atmosphere, with plush bed linens, extra pillows and blankets ensuring a restful night's sleep. The captivating master suite offers a grand bed, while two additional rooms feature cozy beds, awaiting to comfort you after a day of exploring.

The thoughtful layout allows for long-term stays and hosts an array of modern conveniences to make your stay memorable. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and ample cookware, dishes and silverware. A conveniently placed washer and dryer set allows guests to keep up with laundry during their stay. The living area flaunts a stylish stereo system and a TV for your entertainment, along with dedicated heating, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi throughout the home.

Perfect comfortable cottage

Borough Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable family home. We loved everything about it including the very generous breakfast hamper, the comfy couches and cosy warm bed. Sitting on the verandah enjoying breakfast and watching the resident Eastern spinebill family was a highlight for us birdwatchers. Highly recommended.

Easy and comfortable

This property was such a lovely place to stay in. A real treat and communication with the property manager was rapid and clear. The house and garden are gorgeous, the breakfast treats left for us were very appreciated and it's a nice ten minute walk into town. My family and I enjoyed spending time both indoors and outdoors. I couldn't recommend this property highly enough.

Borough Cottage is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and location is great. My only concern is that I am in my sixties and had trouble getting into the bath as the shower is over the bath. I don’t know if the owner would consider some adjustment to this , otherwise the cottage is magnificent.

Wonderfully Relaxing Stay

My mother and I stayed for a girls long weekend and had such a pleasant time. The hearing was already on when we arrived which was a relief from the cold outside. The house is super clean and has everything you need for your stay. The gardens are just beautiful. Even in the grey, cold, rain. If you are looking for a place to relax that is warm and inviting I would highly recommend this property

Lovely property- well appointed and well positioned

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfy cozy cottage with everything you need. Generously provisioned as well - with bread eggs bacon jam butter oil.salt pepper etc. Even 2 lites of milk.for tea and coffee and breakfast. A beautiful rustic garden and short pleasant walk into town. Would stay again and would recommend as a base of for the area.

Beautiful garden

Beautiful garden and lovely historic home. We loved the location and the house but the mattresses on all of the beds were way to soft, need an update. Also the house had lots of lovely antique furniture but I felt it was a bit to crowded especially if you have children. One more issue was the bathtub. Given the distance off the foor it really should have a rail to hang on to when you climb in and out of. A couple of things but overall our stay was lovely and Gippsland is so very pretty
