The stay and staff were exceptional, only problem was hotels.com. I booked 2 days with the protection plan and I was sent to another job after staying 1 night and I could not get my refund for the second night.

Not a bad motel but the best things about it were that it’s within driving distance of Jason’s Southern Table for dinner - biggest damn pork chop I’ve ever seen … it was GREAT! … and Rosella’s cafe for breakfast - a great experience meeting Miss Dee. And it’s only a block ride to get back on the Natchez Trace. Not the fanciest place to stay, and not much in the way of breakfast, but suitable if you’re doing the Trace on a budget.

I liked the fact that it was very quiet the only thing that was wrong is my TV had a damage spot along the bottom but overall a great lace to stay

The property is just older, in a small town that can’t support nicer facilities. It was clean and basically fine for one night, but the air conditioner was noisy. There were two ugly shipping containers adjacent to the parking lot and the flower beds by the office badly needed some attention. Not a great first impression. That said, the other lodgings in town didn’t appear to be any better.

When we arrived and unloaded our luggage into the room, we heard the smoke alarm "beeping" indication of low battery. We called the front desk and was told someone would be up shortly to check it out. No one ever came! We then noticed the battery was just hanging, not connected. We connected it. Fridge was quite old with rust present on the outside.

Not bad

Over all the room wasnt bad. Room freshly painted so there was paint drops everywhere, beds appeared new, & shower had amazing pressure along with being hot. The floors had a sandy film. They want to charge $20 for checking in before 2pm with or without access to a room. Checkin after midnight was very slow and cumbersome.
