Dear travelers, Welcome stay in our new cottages in the heart of Southern Finland!
Our holiday village was built among forests with great love for nature and attention to quality. The total area is 12 hectares on the edge of lake Iso-Ruhmas, good place for swimming, fishing and boat trips.
The village is included in the city's system of municipal services: we have a centralized electricity supply, urban water supply and sanitation, collection and disposal of garbage. The cleanest water in the world is water in Finland. It's very closely monitored, so the water is safe to drink and cooking.
Villa Maria is a new, clean, comfortable and cozy cottage. Inside is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with fireplace; sauna with wood stove, shower/ utility room, indoor WC. Sleeps: 5 (4 in two twin bedrooms and 1 guest bed). There is underfloor automatic heating system (all the house area). Firewood also provided. Outside is a half-covered terrace, patio, storage and grill in the yard.
Minimum stay 3 nights. Free Wi-Fi, TV and all the necessary equipment. Departure cleaning service included into the price. Hire of bed linen and towels is ⏠15/person. Baby chair/baby cot - free of charge as well as guests own rowing boat equipped with oars, anchor and life jackets. Bicycles for rent ⏠15/each for all period (limited number, book in advance required). йhere are 2 playgrounds for children: at the lake coast for older (5+), at the village entrance - for the little ones (0+). There is also a small football pitch, volleyball court and trampoline. йhere are 2 grill cabins: one is at the beach and the second, with a large terrace, in the center of the pond. An area guides & maps + the cottage instructions are provided.
Finns appreciate clean nature. In the forest you can collect mushrooms and berries everywhere in countryside except the areas close to private households. Hunting and fishing require special licenses and the identity card. The license can be purchased in the "R-kioski" shop network.
In Jaala, 2 km - market, shops, restaurant, pharmacy, gas station SEO.
In Kouvola, 30 km, you can find something to do at any time of the year: events, shopping, leisure and sports, entertainment, etc., among which are popular with tourists - ski center Mielakka, karting, rafting, children's park and water park in TykkimÀki.
Repovesi National Park 55 km - Repovesi's rugged forests are dotted with blue lakes and ponds. The park offers accessible adventures for everyone.
How to get to the cottage? From Helsinki Airport in Vantaa to Kouvola use a train. Train routes & tickets are available on page vr.fi Ticket price is about euro 22,- per person. From Kouvola`s Train Station to Jaala take a taxi or a bus. Taxi price is about euro 60,-
If there are plans be mobile for area travel, it makes sense to rent a car.
Wird waren mit 5 Personen im Haus. Der Platz hat gereicht. Bis zum Wasser war es ein kleines StĂŒck. Sonst gepflegte Anlage mit Spielplatz und flacher Badestelle.
Aleksander Ferienhaus hatte einen Wasserschaden, der in der Woche repariert wurde als wir eigentlich dort gewesen wĂ€ren. Deshalb hat Aleksander fĂŒr uns ein wunderschönes Chalet organisiert, in der NĂ€he von SysmĂ€ am PĂ€ijenesee. Es war ein wundervolle Aufenthalt. Das Haus hatte alles was man sich vorstellen kann. Sauna, Hotpot, Kamin im Wohnzimmer, Terrasse und Wiese. Es liegt ganz ruhig im Wald, mit einer sehr freundlichen Nachbarschaft. Zum Sees musste man nur ein paar Minuten laufen. Der Aufenthalt war eine 10/10. Aleksander war immer gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank an Aleksander fĂŒr diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt.
Das Boot war insgesamt etwas wackelig auf dem Wasser, aber fĂŒr unsere Angeltouren ausreichend.
Das Haus mit Sauna war prima und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Kompliment an den Gastgeber.
