Simple and neat, but old and far

While searching for a hotel, we specified to have it near the Krabi Night Market, however the hotel was far (about 20 min walk) and the streets were dark and quiet. The room was very simple and neat, equipped with basic necessities (no mirror except in the toilet). Surprisingly the TV has many channels and great aircon that made up for what it lacked. Although the staff was not well-versed in English, she was helpful and quickly changed our room when the initial room had some power issues.

Room was very basic and dated. Had an ants nest in the bathroom wasn't an issue for me but some people may complain. Good air con. 10-15 min walk from town center or 20 baht tuk tuk. Service was decent. We used them for a taxi to ao Nang for 400 baht and had a mini bus to ourselves quite pleasant

Good budget hotel on the main road to town.

Hired a bike to get around (200 baht a day). Krabi town has lots to see. At the night market you can eat for a quid (2curries with rice). Lots of tours leave from there, an abundance of choice. Very lively and colourful and the flora hotel I would recommend. Photos on the website are better than I could take.
