Our Stay

We had a beautiful experience staying at Lizanne and Jaap’s VRBO. The place is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space for two couples to stay. Parking was plentiful and accessible. Easy drive to town. Arrival and check out were very easy. The pool is wonderful. The nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it!

Sleepless nights in paradise

This is a beautiful property in a very noisy neighborhood, dogs barking at all hours of the day and night. We asked Lizanne if there was anyway to address this problem to her neighbors. Lizannes response was
.moving out and returning a portion of our rent money, we declined due to the inconvenience of moving. Ignoring problems of this magnitude is not good for future guests or the property owner. Also black out blinds in the bedroom down stairs was not enough to keep ambient security lights from darkening the room. Thank you, Martin

Great place, centrally located to sites, diving and shopping

This was our second trip to Bonaire and were surprised how much had changed around this area. Last time we remember some homes, but nothing like there is now. This is a great location, easy to get to all the island has to offer. We love the area so much, we want to buy one! Luckily we got a tutorial at check in since we are not familiar with the European appliances, but everything was easy to use. It was nice to have some food stocked in the fridge upon arrival, and everything was clean. The home was wired for both European and American outlets, so we didn't worry about adapters. Definitely a home we'd go back to stay at.

Tolles Haus, sehr nette Gastgeber

Der Service unserer Vermieter war wirklich toll, Jaarp holte uns vom Flughafen ab und brachte uns zum Haus. Er erklĂ€rte uns ausfĂŒhrlich das Haus und sein Equipment. Der KĂŒhlschrank war schon gut gefĂŒllt, wir mussten nichts fĂŒr das ausgedehnte FrĂŒhstĂŒck am nĂ€chsten Tag einkaufen, was angesichts des langen Fluges super war. Es ist alles reichlich vorhanden: ca 12 große BadetĂŒcher, ca 16 HandtĂŒcher usw., alles in Top QualitĂ€t. Der Pool ist mit 20 m lĂ€nge bestens zum tĂ€glichen schwimmen geeignet, wird auch mehrmals pro Woche gereinigt. Das Haus wird einmal pro Woche grĂŒndlich gereinigt, die Terrasse mehrfach. Unsere Vermieter bieten einen What‘s App Service, so sind sie immer erreichbar. Falls mal was fehlt besorgen Lizanne oder Jaarp es sofort. Obwohl die beiden nebenan wohnen hat man das GefĂŒhl alleine zu sein. Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, wenn möglich ein Pick-Up, damit kommt man ĂŒberall hin. Sonnenschirme fĂŒr den Strand sind sehr schwer zu bekommen- mitnehmen! Wir hatten schon sehr viele FerienhĂ€user, ĂŒberall auf der Welt, das hier war bisher das sauberste, bestausgerĂŒstete Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt

Geweldige vakantie!

De accomodatie heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de vakantie compleet was. Nieuw huis en alles zag er netjes uit. Jaap en liz (eigenaar van het huis) hebben ons uitstekend ontvangen en stonden elk moment voor ons klaar. Wij komen nog een keertje terug en zullen dan dit huis weer boeken!

Luxurious and very comfortable stay in modern new built beautiful villa opposite to the sea.

When booking our stay we were quite lucky finding the Caraibas home, since the owners just put it online. From the moment we made our reservation the owners Jaap & Lizanne were very helpful with information about our upcoming travel trip, Bonaire itself, and various sightseeing tours. Both have been living on Bonaire for 6 or 7 years, so they know the island very well. Upon arrival (2000 pm) Jaap picked us from the airport. After a few minutes drive from the small Bonaire airport to our new holiday home we arrived at the newly built modern villa / house. The home owners, who live in the neighbouring house, gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. The fridge was filled with food and drinks for in the morning (and some more days :-) The house has 2 big and 1 smaller bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a open high ceiling living room with a view on the big pool and sea. Everything looks exactly as on the pictures, is modern and made from high quality materials. Anything one could potentially need on holiday, can be found in the house like towels, all utensils to cook yourself if needed, tourist information, air conditioning, flatscreen televisions with amongst others Netflix, and flawless working WIFI, and much more. Beware that most streets in this area are not paved, so one needs to be aware of that. We came to Bonaire to get our PADI open water diving certificates (Beyond the Corals dive school; professional kind people and highly recommended) and therefor we rented a pick-up truck as most visitors do. This definitely helped us when driving around the island. Twice a week, the villa is cleaned, and I believe once a week the pool. Every now and then Jaap & Lizanne check in via Whatsapp to see if everything is fine and if they can assist with anything. As said, they live next-door so any issue would be resolved quite quickly I can imagine. We, the three of us including 1 thirteen year old, stayed form the 20th until the 30th of December 2018, and had a wonderful time. Being a bit spoiled form earlier travelling, I can only speak highly about our warm welcome, superb stay, and pleasant service. I surely can recommend anyone staying at the Caraibas holiday villa. Thank you Jaap, Lizanne, and off course little Willem!
