Uttumer Mühle: Aletta - Gemütliche Erdgeschosswohnung im Müllerhaus der Uttumer Mühle

Welcome to the Müllerhaus at the Uttumer Mühle!

The ground-floor apartment, Aletta, offers a spacious 50 square metres of living space for up to 2 people. This apartment features a separate living room with a window overlooking the garden, furnished with an L-shaped sofa, a wall unit, and a TV. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room, and right next to it is the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, Senseo pod machine, and sink. Please note that there is no dishwasher and no freezer compartment. The bathroom with a window (to be renovated in early 2025) features a shower, hair dryer, sink, and toilet. The bedroom features a double bed and a large closet.

Dogs are welcome upon registration and for a separate fee. Fly screens are installed on the main windows.

A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are available for guests of the apartments in the building’s shared laundry room. The garden and terrace belonging to the property may also be used by all guests.

Simple bicycles are available free of charge at the property (we do not guarantee their condition and assume no liability). Storage facilities with electrical outlets are also available for guests’ own bicycles. Ample parking is available.

The Müllerhaus in Uttum features a total of 5 cozy vacation apartments (Aletta, Bentje, Casjen, Daike, Eiske), which are ideal for larger groups or families and can be rented in their entirety or in part. All apartments can be booked for stays as short as two nights during the summer months and are powered by green electricity from a solar PV system!

The mill located right next door can be rented for guests’ events. If you’re interested, we’d be happy to put you in touch.

Every year on Pentecost Monday, Krummhörn hosts Mill Day, in which the Uttum Mill traditionally participates!

On the way from Emden, just before Greetsiel, lies the small village of Uttum in the heart of East Frisia, in the municipality of Krummhörn. Greetsiel, with its numerous attractions—such as the twin mills and the picturesque fishing harbour—is just a few minutes’ drive away. The same applies to the seaport city of Emden, home to attractions such as the Kunsthalle, the museum ships moored around the Delft, and the Otto-Huus. Its rural yet central and well-connected location makes it an ideal starting point for numerous excursions, whether on foot, by bike, or by car. But Uttum itself also offers several attractions, such as the church in the historic town centre and the old brickworks on the outskirts of town.
