Disappointing reception

Was told there was no room with king size bed left. However, colleague who checked in after me was given a king size bed.

We wish to clarify that room assignments are subject to various factors, including room availability, prior reservations, special requests, and timing of check-ins.In this particular case, your friend may have been allocated a king-size bed due to a variety of reasons. At the time of your check-in, the specific room with a king-size bed may have still been occupied or undergoing maintenance, necessitating a different room assignment. However, when your friend arrived for check-in later, the room might have become available, allowing us to accommodate the request for a king-size bed.Additionally, we wanted to minimize any inconvenience and waiting time for the king-size bed room to be ready hence why another bedding category was being offered as we do not have a specific timing of when the king-size bed will be available. If you do not mind waiting for the preferred room type in the future, kindly inform our team during check-in.We appreciate your understanding of the situation and assure you that our team always strives to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
