Only stayed 1 night and wouldn’t care to stay longer. Room is small and had an odour. Very basic hotel stay not worth the price; stayed in much nicer hotels in Japan for far less money. Upside is it’s located a few minutes walk to train station and 10 minute walk to Kurashiki Old Quarter.

The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location.

The room has EVERYTHING !! even the basic room, there was a microwave ! fridge, dehumidifier/air cleaner, water boiler, internet LAN cable(even there was smooth wi-fi )and even a blue light sterilizer! The only downside was the staff at the check-in counter didn’t really speak English. Additionally, the soundproof was bad, i could hear the sound of motorbike all night long from the street and footsteps from upstairs.

The rooms are not clean at all. I had to switch rooms because there was a large stain of something that looked like dried blood on the sheets. When I switched rooms, my new room had a visibly unclean floor. There were multiple hairs in the bedding in each room. And the towels were all lightly stained. There was a thin layer of dust in every surface.
