Our first experience in Grand Hotel Kuwait

Check in service is very excellent and fast! The front desk staff are are very helpful and kind. But highlight of our stay is because of our experience in the Vitality spa. The staff are very excellent and their massage service is one of a kind! I will surely recommend it to my friends and family! Kudos for Staff Mini Sam! However I would suggest if they can improve their television and the telephone. Its is really old and difficult to use.

All Staff where lovely and very helpful. Breakfast buffet and their staff were really nice. But the hotel is soo old. Our toilet had a strong sewage smell. The bed and blankets were not comfortable. Toilet is old as well. We asked for extra bed for 1 night and it wasn’t comfortable at all. For the price we paid we unfortunately won’t come back again.

This hotel is right on the beach & ideal for a break from the city life. The rooms are really clean & the staff are exemplary & personified with their warm smile & their impeccable behaviour to one & all. The breakfast style is very comprehensive & they offer hot food & festooned with a variety of pasties, breads to suit anyone’s taste buds. My only issue, is the hotel is not anywhere near some some of the tourist attractions but that said they are only a bus or taxi ride away. By & large the Grand Hotel is quiet & the staff are the very reason why I would visit again!

Hotel needs finishing

Hotel is unfinished. The gym was just a empty space waiting for equipment. There are several areas which are waiting for equipment. The hotel did not have my booking when I arrived. The pool area is dirty.

Incredible Mistake

The hotel photos wasn't reflect the realty. When I compare between the photos on the Expedia website and what I saw, there is a big different. The room furniture was old, the carpet wasn't clean. The toilet accessories are not fixed, the flush was leaking until you hit it several times. The staff are not professional as well as I expected. I've complained about the room and asked them to change the room, but they said if I want I have to pay. It was a bad experiment for me with this hotel, and it make me start to loss trust in Expedia website.

The hotel do not worth 5 stars

The hotel do not worth the 5 stars, the house keeping need to be called to clean the room There are no car parking suitable for us. The internet is very slow. The receptionists attitude was very bad. TV channels are very few, they do not have the main channels that most of the people watch such as "AlArabya"

Not given the room which i paid for(sea side view)

The hotel had not given me the right room i reserved which was so posed to be sea side view, yet they gave parking lot view and simply told me we are over booked. Manger and staff were both not helpful. I was very disopponted that i had paid for a sea side premim double room and was given a double room with parking lot view instead. Moreover, they had no workout facility while they mention in the reservation and website they do.
