The room was great and roomy. The only downsides are the coffee and washer and dryer. The coffee they serve was instant and tastes so weak for my taste. The washer and dryer that they have are nice and for free to use but the dryer seems to take forever to dry clothes.

The hotel is only 4 minutes from Kyoto station. The rooms were nice and well maintained. The hotel had a public onsen which was do nice and convenient. As an American, we found the pillows hard but they provided us with softer ones at our request. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to Kyoto station and great restaurants and izakayas. The staff was exceptional and took our bags to our room so we could jet off on a tour we were running late for. My son enjoyed the onsen/public bath while I enjoyed the nice deep tub in the room. The breakfast buffet was seriously over the top with everything you could desire, including fresh baked bread and pastries to omelet bar, and every Japanese entre to try soft serve ice cream, espresso, etc

Room is small, compacted, no window , so confusing Ned. No iron in the room. Need to deposit some money in the reception for an iron. reception is not friendly. Not with for money. Breakfast buffet is ok, good to have onsen.

My partner and I visited Japan recently and this was our favorite hotel stay. The property is about a 7 minute walk from the train station, and a 15ish minute walk to the main shopping areas. It is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and locally owned shops as well. While they charge an extra fee for early check in, we were able to leave our luggage in the lobby and explore the town until the check in time began. Staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. The room is gorgeous and while a little on the smaller side, it was extremely cozy, clean and quiet. Would 100% stay here again and take advantage of the on-site restaurant.

We stumbled across a small market about 7 minutes away from the hotel.
This temple was a quick Uber ride away from the hotel.
