Room: small and bed so uncomfortable… I saw how they clean the room between guests and tbh I felt it was not that hygienic. Location: Great! Staff: It was OK. The girl who welcomed us at the reception we felt like we were bothering her. She did not explain a lot. Amenities: showers are clean and bathroom as well We did laundry and set a timer to come back get our laundry. We were 4-5 minutes late and the staff removed our stuff from the machine. We were a little bit shocked. I would understand a 30 min to 1h late but for such a short period of time we really didn’t appreciate it. The clothes were not even completely dry and we would have added time but couldn’t since they removed everything. In general: It’s like a hostel.

It’s close to metro and JR line. Very convenient. The complementary cream and shower body towel are great. Overall, it’s a great place to stay. I will book it again if I come to Tokyo.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! Location was perfect, just 2 mins walk from the metro and quiet yet close to the city centre. Room was great, yes it was small but thoughtfully designed (I love the nightlight feature!) and the futon was extremely comfortable. Breakfast not bad and great value. Bathrooms were OK, showers were perfecty fine and well-maintained but I do wish the toilets came with a seat cleaning spray for hygiene (especially as they're shared). Would stay again!

More of a Hostel design, shared bathrooms with other guests, however the bathrooms were modern and clean. The room was very small, just for sleeping, also common shared washrooms with other guests. Location was near access to subway and within walking of the main shopping areas.

A very simple but effective hotel that I’d love to of stayed longer in. The beds was extremely comfortable and while not the most spacious, was definitely a nice place to rest and relax in.

If you’re going to stay in Kyoto this is a good choice. Good location & accommodating staff. Close enough to Kyoto station to walk and directly next to subway line and bus. Elevator if you have heavy luggage. Easy check in with machine. Nice lobby and shower rooms. The rooms are smaller but very cute.
