Chalet Les Vardafes is a four-bedroom, three bathroom chalet for eight guests in the quiet village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, part of the Portes du Soleil ski area.

We love the spacious living area, which opens on to a balcony with superb views of the mountains. Three of the four bedrooms also have access to balconies, so you can start your day with coffee al fresco!

The chalet also has a hot tub and a large garden, where children will enjoy running around in the summer, or playing in the snow in the winter. The owner/managers live next door, and are always happy to give recommendations on places to visit and how best to get around.

The four bedrooms are all good sizes, especially the master suite on the ground floor, which has a dressing area and a shower room. There are three more bedrooms on the top floor - two more double rooms (one with its own shower room) and a twin room. There's also a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate WC.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

The house is amazing, very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped! Very spacious living room, dining area and a great outside area with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. The jacuzzi to relax in after a day of skiing was amazing! Great location too, beautiful surroundings and a short drive from a few different ski lifts. We felt very welcome when we arrived and loved our stay, would definitely be back!

Amazing chalet in La Chapelle-d'Abondance! We stayed in Châtel in 2024, but due to the location, it was in a small apartment. By staying just a little further out, you can enjoy a wonderful chalet like this and still be at the lifts within a few minutes in the morning. Thanks to the host for a brilliant stay; we would thoroughly recommend it.
