Beautiful property surrounded by lush vegetation with lots of privacy next to the forest and a beautiful stream. Ideal for families or groups of friends. 10 minutes from the main attractions of the area (hot springs, theme parks, National Park, among others).
We have air conditioning, wifi, armchairs, tv, the house is very well equipped, the place is super quiet and is very close to the center of La Fortuna, just 10 minutes from downtown.

Belle maison bien située au calme

La maison est hyper propre, bien située. Belle grande terrasse, 4 grandes salles de bain, literie confortable, bref que du positif.

Magnifique maison et des paresseux en bonus : )

La maison était au-delà de nos attentes. Nous étions deux familles de 4, chaque chambre avait sa propre salle de bain (les salles de bain étaient très belles et propres). L’extérieur de la maison est très bien organisé, nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir dans la piscine. La vue est incroyable, et nous avons eu la chance de voir des paresseux toujours perchés dans un arbre sur le côté de la maison, des toucans et nous avons entendu des singes hurleurs. La maison est très bien équipée et nous n’avons manqué de rien. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Absolutely wonderful

The house was perfect, clean and it smelled really good when we got there. We had more space than needed for our family of four, which is wonderful. The pool was cleaned everyday. The kitchen was awesome. So nice to have a washing machine and dryer. We loved it!

We were impressed with this beautiful property! It is in a quiet area and was very clean, well stocked and had comfortable beds and linens. We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and patio area, especially for breakfast. We saw many birds including Tucans. One of the grounds keepers even showed us a sloth on property. It was a highlight for us! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful La Fortuna vacation!

Casa Calibri Rubi is a beautiful and spacious home in a private gated community, extremely clean, upgraded throughout. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, great A/C units, very nice bathrooms with shower gels/shampoo/conditioner provided. We appreciated that Arnaldo provided detailed instructions on how to use security codes, appliances, A/C, etc. He is a great host. We really liked the wonderful outdoor living space. Great pool, huge covered patio with very nice dining table and chairs, comfortable upholstered furniture set. We preferred that Casa Calibri Rubi was located just outside of town, surrounded by nature, a lovely large, lush yard and grounds—all the sights and sounds we love about Costa Rica! We rented a car, it’s an easy 10 drive to downtown La Fortuna. It was convenient to all the fun adventures we planned.In the early morning hours I loved our Costa Rican “alarm clock” howler monkeys! Luis, the groundskeeper showed us a couple of sloths in trees right on the property as well as a family of howler monkeys—-so awesome!We will return to La Fortuna and we highly recommend this house.

Tranquil La Fortuna Retreat

Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. We especially loved the pool and terrace where we sat and played games each night as a family. The caretaker brought us to visit a sloth on the property and we were invited to walk the lovely grounds. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to return soon!

Wonderful accommodations and great location. The kids felt like royalty and were so impressed with the house and the pool. We drove into La Fortuna daily for restaurants and wandering and did a bunch of activities as well. Nothing was more than a 20 minute drive.

The property and house itself was amazing! Very well kept and maintained and had a beautiful outdoor relaxing and swimming area that is all yours! I highly recommend stopping beforehand (main areas/cities) to get food if you are not wanting to drive all of the time as the restaurant options within walking distanceare limited. Overall a great location for any type of trip if you are looking for the sights not the beach!

We had a great experience at this property! It’s nestled in the lush country. I was impressed with how clean the property was, and the groundsman kept the outdoors in great shape. He even showed us a sloth on property.My son left an important item, and the owner coordinated a driver to drive it 3 hours to Tamarindo.Communication and check in was easy. We would stay here again!

Best stay in Lafortuna

Arnaldo has one of the best properties you’ll find in Costa Rica. A gated property with fully furnished homes, heated pools & sloths on property. Every morning was a delight to wake up to see Toucans & macaws floating around & that early morning coolness. Wonderful stay!!

Great Stay

This property is wonderful, there are other houses on the property but they are all very private. The groundskeeper showed us where the local sloth was each morning. We saw a ton of toucans one day they were so fun to watch. Having the pool right out the back door is wonderful. Need a car as it’s a bit out of townwatch.

Beautiful property and great for families

The property was beautiful and secure. The home was amazing and cannot say enough about the pool. The groundskeeper showed us sloths every morning. The house is a little bit outside of La Fortuna (15 minutes) but we were ok with that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic stay in fortuna

What a beautiful property. The pool was warm and magical. The beds were so comfortable. Lots of warm water. Not within walking distance of town, but the magic of the place was a fine trade-off.

Beautiful Property

We loved the home and property. The home is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lovely pool and landscaping. Arnaldo responded quickly to any of our questions. On our last morning, the groundskeeper came to get us to show us the 2 sloths in the trees at the back of the property! We also booked the chefs for our last breakfast and they were amazing! Great experience.

Sloth watching from the Pool!

Great place, Louis, the grounds keeper, told us on day one there were 3 sloths on the property. He took us around and we got great footage. We could watch one each day from the pool/patio area. The house was great. Only down side was its little trek to LaFortuna, but I would highly recommend.

Great Landing Spot for Entire Family

Beautiful gated home with relaxing pool. The location is further from town than expected but not a concern. Definitely recommend a car or other available transportation to go to town for dinner or groceries. Very nicely accommodated 8 adults. Very clean. Beautiful villa outside of la Fortuna

Very nice accommodations. Everything was clean and in good working condition. It was just as advertised. The added bonus was that Luis who came to clean the pool every day also took the time to show us sloths, toucans and other wildlife on the property. We would not have seen them on our own. Really enjoyed our stay!!!

Our stay at this VRBO home in Casa Colibri, La Fortuna was simply unforgettable. Nestled in the lush, serene landscape of Costa Rica, this property offered us the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in the true spirit of Costa Rica. The home itself was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, capturing a warm and welcoming ambiance. One of the highlights was the outdoor area—lush gardens, a refreshing pool, and even a cozy sitting area where we enjoyed morning coffee with the sounds of nature all around. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, with prompt communication and fantastic local recommendations. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions. From hiking to waterfalls to sampling incredible local cuisine, everything was easily accessible. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our Costa Rica adventure. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica at its finest.

La Fortuna Vacation

We spent 5 wonderful nights at Casa COLIBRÍ. The house is very nice and would highly recommend. We loved the nightly visit from host pup Lulu and her friends. Luis showed us Sloths on the property every day, saw more on Property than we did at Sloth Park. Had great ATV adventures, Sky Adventure with zipline and hanging bridges in the area.
