Lovely hotel, beach front, nice large pools, one restaurant with a minimal selection of foods and drinks, a couple of bars, and lots of palm trees. The room had a working air conditioning system that actually cools the room and gets cleaned daily. My room had a balcony with large sliding doors with a view of the beach, we actually never even opened the door or enjoyed the balcony because there were thousands of mosquitoes and flies, also, it was about 90 degrees out and no shade. I have to be honest and say that I was disappointed with the service at the restaurant and bars as the young men and women who work there are very slow and don’t really care for the costumers needs. The front desk receptionist was terrible as well. I believe that costumer service should be top priority but you won’t get that here. Unfortunately! It’s a beautiful hotel but there’s isn’t good service sadly.

We recently stayed at this property and while the overall structure and amenities were promising, there are several aspects that require attention to enhance the guest experience. The room, although spacious and well-furnished, lacked proper cleanliness. The floor appeared to have been mopped with a dirty mop, leaving visible stains, and the bathroom was not adequately cleaned. A persistent musty odor throughout the room detracted further from our comfort. On a positive note, the food was generally satisfying, particularly the seafood offerings, which appear to be the house specialty. We would recommend guests focus on these dishes, as other menu options were not as well executed. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations; the wait staff was noticeably slow and inattentive, which impacted the overall dining experience. The pool area features a bar and presents a lively, inviting environment. However, hygiene standards in this space could be improved, as patrons were permitted to eat while in the pool, which raises concerns about cleanliness. In summary, the location offers a comfortable setting with potential, especially for seafood lovers, but the management should prioritize improvements in housekeeping, service efficiency, and hygiene protocols to deliver a more consistent and satisfactory guest experience.

Property is very nice. We liked the beach, pool, environment and staff. The rooms need upgrades. No phone to place room service and no small fridge. The restaurant could help themselves with more traditional food like the famous pupusas. The bar nneds more variety of drinks. Overall we will come back.

We went on vacation for 8 days and stayed in this property. There was NO entertainment. The restaurant menu was ALL the same when they had 3 restaurants. Customer Service sucked!!! Shower water was salty. They stated that there was a night club online when we made the reservations and when we got there there is NO night club. Internet service sucked!!! Cable television there was NONE!! And NO television u had to use ur own apps to get access to watch television. Will not recommend no one to stay at this hotel!!! People sucked and they were rude we will never return to this hotel or country again!!!

This place is falling apart! Dirty and unkept grounds. Very outdated. My room floors were dirty and the walls! The pool looked nice except the water was not clean. You could barely see. I do not recommend this place at all. The roof was covered in tarp. They should really be closed! Seems like they are renovating but the current conditions of the hotel is crazy. I don’t even know how or why they are open

Horrible outdated property. Rooms smell like mildew and there are water stains on the walls everywhere. There is tarp on the roof of the buildings and really looks like a construction zone. I checked in and checked out immediately.

This Property should not be sold as an option for anyone to stay. It is not habitable, first room smelled so bad of mildew and mold that I had to be moved to another room, second room as I was setting in for bed it started raining outside and inside my room and the people who were in my party also had to be moved because it was leaking in their room as well. It was so bad I did not want to sleep under the covers. Then hotel staff played music so loud no one could sleep till after 2am. We were a party of 18 and we checked out early the next morning and went back to the city to another hotel. It was something out of a horror movie!! Yadira

We stayed at the property for 7 days on the second floor. The property itself was very nice. However, the service was not up to par. If you decide to eat there, make sure you have time and patience. expect a server to show up 5-10 minutes after, drinks take about 20 minutes, and your food appropriately another 40 mins. Truly expect to be sitting from start to finish a solid hour 30. There is no sense of urgency. The last day of breakfast, I had a question, the server left to ask their superior. We waited for 13 minutes, so we left to Puma (gas station) to get food. One of our rooms had rat fecal matter, no apology offered even after we showed the video. Just a “we can change your room.” The week we stayed it rained every single day at night, causing our second room to have a leak. Two things really left a sour taste in my mouth. You will notice a grey BMW parked in the valet area for our whole stay(assuming it’s an owner or managers car), besides the point. We were driving on the main road, at a complete stop and hear a car honking uncomfortably. As we continued driving, we see a car from our rear view mirror aggressively weaving through traffic. Guess who it was, the gray bmw with the same plates. They were driving like they stole the car. The second thing, we saw a female manager who apparently was a server yell at a housekeeper and talking down to her. Causing the worker to cry. She walks entitled around the property. What I liked: the room was nice with a king size bed and a bottom pull out bed. It was clean upon arrival with AC and a balcony. What I didn’t like: granted I arrived at 11pm the same security guard that was at the door also checked me in and mentioned I had to go back in the morning to fully check in. Next, the service with food. Just terrible! We get there greeted the guy with glasses was walking around not doing much brought us menus then after about 8-10 mins I got up and told him we were ready. ( there was only one other family being waited on btw) to get 3 basic breakfasts it took more than 20 mins and the food was not hot. The food was decent given its included in your package. I was also given a choice with the room that had hot water did not have a beach view but the one with a view didn’t have hot water.. Additionally, the water from the shower tasted salty meaning they use beach water for folks to wash up. I had to use a water bottle to brush my teeth. Lastly I had to ask for more towels as it was 3 of us with only 2 towels in the room. In my opinion I wouldn’t stay here for the price given those descriptions above. As a paying customer a place that’s not properly staffed has bad customer service isn’t worth me paying $215 a night. It is a beautiful place but it lacks good management.
