What a wonderful discovery this little inn is! Welcoming and attentive hosts. Comfortable and pleasantly decorated rooms. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Delightful stay in La Malbaie

Our stay at Auberge La Chatelaine was wonderful. Laurent is a very friendly and engaging host, helping us with our bags and providing good advice on places of interest, restaurants etc. The room we had is well designed and tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. The daily breakfast was also delicious. Overall, we are very happy customers.

L'accueil fût exceptionnel; les hôtes sont aux petits soins de l'arrivée au départ. Le déjeuner est succulent, les confitures un délice! We had a dormer room with sloped ceiling over the bed. The floor and the bed mattress creaked/groaned; there was too much "stuff" in the room, with too little light. Opening the dormer windows (thankfully with screens) helped and provided a nice view of the river, as well as fresh air (no AC). There was loud music from an entertainment venue nearby on one night. The hosts were very nice and the breakfasts were very good.
