The hotel is in need of maintenance and some TLC, the beds are as hard as rocks, because their standard rooms are full sun facing, they need to have black out curtains to keep the rooms cooler due to the climate. Also, the womean that checked us in over charged the total rate booked at and said "thats just how they get you to book, this is what we charge here". She double charged the tax rate, an additional $35. To top it off a dog walked right up to the pool and pee'd in it. That ended our swimming time. Oyr family came to soend the afternoon with us as the hotel was empty and I was charged $100 pesos per person despite buying food and drinks there. They did have one staff member that was helpful and very kind, he comes from La Paz everyday to work there. We are building in El Sargento, and come all the time while working on our place. But we will never stay here again and certainly will never recommend anyone stay here.
The staff here are excellent. The pool and deck area are really nice. The jacuzzi was not heated. We think the owner needs to invest a bit for maintenance. The staff has to make excuses which we know wasn’t their fault. It still was a nice place to stay.

Disliked: Amenities
Room and roof are dirty, the fridge was with food, no tv cable. Pool with not enough maintenance the water wasn’t clean. Bad service of the waiters.
Total I don’t recommend.
The beds are individual.
Beautiful pool area, although no hot tub, water looked dirty.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa, which just screamed out a lack of hospitality or thoughtfulness. Bedding was worn, pillows did not have pillow cases, only shams, slider in master bedroom did not work. Kitchen was ill equipped. No dish towels or paper towels. No coffee pot as described on Expedia. Then they charged us for coffee at the bar. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Would I stay here again, NO.

The staff were super nice, friendly & very helpful.
Room was clean just a little run down.
I wish I had more time to stay longer because they have lots of fun amenities that range from a pickleball court to a beautiful pool & jacuzzi. Even though there were some issues with the water heater and were quick to offer solutions.
Our room was clean and easily accessible. Even though the mattress was a little firm, I slept comfortably safe.
My only recommendation would be that the restaurant opens earlier for if not breakfast at least for coffee. It must have been around 7 or 8am and they were not open.

Was very disappointed. The office was locked and we got let into our Villa by the bar staff. The bedrooms were clean but the rooftop patio and area around the villa not clean. We had to clean the furniture of dirt before we used it. Some of the chairs were torn in unsafe to use the pull out couch had a huge rip in the upholstery and what was viewed was not great. Full kitchen but no dishes or cutlery. A hot tub that was empty except for filthy pools of residual water. An absolute disgrace for 5500 pesos per night or 438$ Canadian. And I have pictures!
Firm bed. Windows wouldn’t lock. Rooms smelt like smoke.

Liked: Staff & service
Pros. Friendly staff. They provided coffee grounds, filter and cups for an early departure the next morning. Nice newer room layout with mini kitchen, restaurant, pools and upstairs terrace. Cons, construction on next door bathroom with tile cutting outside our room. The bed was rock hard and a double, not larger as advertised. No pillow cases on pillows, they were in a sham that was not laundered. We had to removethe shams and put our tee shirts over the pillows. No hot water. I looked in the maintenance closet and the electric hot water heater was disconnected. Road traffic was noisy.
The room I was staying in had not been cleaned properly. Toilet was nasty and there was bits of dirt all over the sofa chair. The stove top didn’t work and the hot water was not turned on.
Pool is nice and the food we had from the restaurant was nice. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Central location, walking distance to playa central and multiple restaurants and coffee shops.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The food was good and so was the service.
BUT....at 3am we lost power. We were going fishing at 6am and at 5am we had no lights, now water, no shower. NOTHING! We could barely walk around the villa. We could not cook breakfast or prepare for our day. It was unacceptable for what we paid. If we had been contacted or compensated by the hotel, i would have a different view. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but we used cell phone lights to get 2 adults and a 5 year old out the door.
And it was just our villa without power.
My complaint is based on the lack of service and communication from the hotel staff that we were not contacted for even an apology. At the very least after paying $3500 pesos for 1 night.
I have to rate our experience as terrible.
La comida y las bebidas del el restaurante son muy buenas, el personal amable, el único inconveniente que tuvimos es que el refrigerador aparentemente no servía lo que causó que se echara a perder la comida de mi bebé.
