Close to beautiful beaches we have in this beautiful and peaceful town, the villa is located in a residential area, which will give you all the peace you need on your vacation. It has 4 bedrooms, one en suite, 3 w. c, kitchen and very spacious room. Outside around the pool deck chairs, sun hats, inflatable mattresses, table and chairs for children, dining tables next to the barbecue with a capacity of 10 pax. In the summer months we have sunlight ALL DAY for up to 20 hours!

Amazing stay in Lagos!

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at Ilda's property in Lagos. The house was great and in an even better location.

Amazing house great location

This house accommodated our group of 4 adults and 4 children perfectly. It’s very spacious and clean with a great pool and patio area. Located just 5 min from Lagos center and amazing beaches. Planning on returning next summer!!!

A beautiful spacious house great for our party of 9 including a 2 year old. Warm welcome from our host Ilde who lives below the property but was not at all intrusive - we had the indoor and outdoor space to ourselves. A welcome pack included almond biscuits, wine, water, tea and coffee. A/C in all the bedrooms. Two were triples (double single) but still spacious. The main double has an ensuite, balcony, sofa bed plus room for a cot.Great pool and BBQ area. Towels, soap/shampoo, toilet roll, cooking basics like salt, pepper, oil provided to get us going. Can walk to the cliff top and Camilo beach (15 mins) (closed when we were there cos of rockfalls) and town (25mins) from the villa, but we hired cars for our group and explored the beaches further away. A lovely stay in a great villa, thank you Ilde!

de très belles plages

Nous avons apprécié le calme du quartier, les plages sont magnifiques et très bien équipées. Nous avons trouvé que Lagos était bien plus beau qu'Albufeira. La maison est très bien, très propre et la propriétaire très sympathique. Nous vous les recommandons fortement. Les plages sont accessibles à pieds, sinon nous avons pu trouver des places de parking très facilement le matin Le centre ville est petit mais bien animé. Nous reviendrons c'est sure.

De vrai vacances

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette magnifique maison très bien conçu. La description de l'annonce est sans fausse note. La maison est spacieuse, confortable, agréable et très propre. La piscine est magnifique et reposante. Nous n'avions pas de voiture, mais les plages et le centre ville sont à une vingtaine de minutes à pied. Si la fatigue se fait sentir pour le retour, il y a des bus qui s'arrête à environs 200 mètres de la maison. Nous avons découvert un lieu magnifique avec ses plages et toutes ses activités, son centre bondé de restaurant pour goûter les plats typiques du pays. Nous avons aimé voir les dauphins ou manger de la morue. La propriétaire, est une personne très sympathique et agréable, qui a été de très bons conseils et de bons services. Nous la remercions pour tout. Je conseille vivement cette maison à tous ceux qui désir partir en vacances à Lagos

Tout d'abord un accueil très chaleureux de l'hôtesse. Concernant la maison, une hygiène et un service irréprochable. Une suite parentale avec salle de bain privative et 3 autres grandes chambres,2 salles de bain, un grand salon et une grande cuisine équipée. La piscine top. Prestation digne d'un 5 ***. Une très belle plage à quelques mètres (praia MOZ). Tout à proximité (commerces, hôpital). VRAIMENT PAS DECU, J'Y RETOURNERAIS.

We had an amazing time as a family in Lagos. This property was amazing, pool was awesome, and we were really close to the center and the beaches. Communication with the owner was great, Ilda was very helpful and attentive with our needs. We really enjoyed our time and hope to return one day.

Incredible property in an excellent location

Loved the unit. Very well equipped and maintained. The pool was a welcome addition to our stay even though we were planning on spending most of the time on the beach. The owner lives in a separate unit under the property although at no point was that a concern or disruption for our group. There are some loud dogs nearby but they went mostly quiet at night. This is easily walkable to the lighthouse point, nearby beaches, and to downtown. A market is two blocks away for meat and veggies. The area feels relatively safe, as it is residential and quiet, mostly vacation properties.

Fantastic holiday!

We had a lovely stay at this villa, Ilda met us and welcomed us to the villa on our first day. The villa was extremely clean and spacious, we were a group of seven and had plenty of space. The pool area was fantastic too and we had a couple barbecues during the week which was great. Location was perfect being a short walk to town or a very cheap taxi ride home. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Lovely house & host

We stayed at Casa Sousa for 10 nights - two families made up of 4 adults and 6 children. The house is well appointed, spacious, lots of the photos on this site don't necessarily do it justice. The pool and sun lounger area was bigger than we expected, as were some of the bedrooms. We enjoyed the outside eating area. The kitchen is large with everything you need to cook, minus any ingredients like salt/pepper/sugar/etc. Ilda is lovely, her apartment downstairs means she's close by but most of us only saw her once during our stay. She replies to messages fast and we really appreciated how easy booking the house was. Easy on-street parking - our group had 3 small cars between us. The location is great. There's a beach about a 10min walk away, town is a 15min walk (downhill; so 20min returning uphill!). A big Intermarche is a 5min drive and access to the motorway is about 10min. The downside and frustrating part for us is that there are not 4 bathrooms at this house. It says that there are twice in the listing so we inquired if we were missing something and told that there are only 3. Our search parameters for this trip were 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It's therefore an odd situation because had the property been listed as 3 bathrooms, we wouldn't have picked it...yet we really did enjoy the house and felt it was a great pick for our group. I do think the listing should be changed to reflect that there are three bathrooms, not four, and I'm surprised it's not mentioned in any other reviews. I would absolutely stay again and recommend Casa Sousa to families or groups of friends. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Great location

Casa Sousa is in a great location, near many beaches and quite near Lagos town centre. It is immaculately clean. The villa is a great size for its 10 people and the kitchen is very well equipped for a holiday home. We found however, the outside space does not lend itself to outdoor dining as it is a very cramped corner area that does not fit many people. A couple of other things we struggled with were trouble with ants in the kitchen all the time and a fridge that didn’t really work. The owner Ilda is the loveliest most obliging person you could ever meet and she is happy to help with anything at all.

Really wonderful!

We spent four wonderful days there with our family there. We were there with 8 people and celebrated the 80th birthday of our mom. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean.The pool is great, he was much used. The landlords were very nice and helpful. When we had to go to a doctor, they were immediately helping to the side. The location of the house is very good and quiet in a dead end.We had two car rental, in order to visit a lot in the area. The evenings we spent in the house, The BBQ hut is fantastic. We would love to return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks!

We were a group of 10 friends on a quick holiday. The villa suited us perfectly with its large rooms and good location (about 20 mins walk into the town centre). Ilda was a very helpful and kind host. I would highly recommend the property to any other large groups.

Amazing villa! Spacious, wonderful for entertaining and relaxing. 15 walk mins from beach

This villa is amazing, very spacious, wonderful for entertaining. We had BBQ's every evening. The kitchen is so spacious. 15 min walk from the most beautiful beaches, 10 mins walk to a decent supermarket. 2 sets of keys so if you are with a big group you can come and go as you please. Ilda was lovely and made our stay so comfortable. She stayed in a room downstairs so was available to assist but not in the way at all. We did not even know she was there. We were 2 families with kids and could easily have had another family join us. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon! Obrigada, Ilda !

Amazing villa, great hosts, and a great town

An absolutely fantastic place to stay for the week... The host was incredibly accommodating and kind - a pleasure to meet. Anything we needed she was right there to assist with, e.g. booking taxis to the train station or to the water park nearby. The villa itself was immaculately kept - very clean and tidy. A great quality place to stay, with a lot of space for larger groups. The pool is a fantastic size and gets the sun the entire day. The barbecue is a great addition for a night in. The villa comes with mod cons such as a dishwasher to make things easier, and quick wifi which can be rare when renting a villa. A nice walk into town and only €5 for a taxi if feeling lazy. A supermarket is 5 minutes walk away and the beaches are close by too. If staying in Lagos, cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks for a great stay!

FABULOUS VILLA

We found this fabulous villa online and fell in love with it straight away. The owner met us on arrival & provided us with all the information we needed for our stay including the best places and beaches to visit. The villa was spacious, clean, bright and modern. We made good use of the pool and BBQ facilities. The location was peaceful yet within walking distance to the beach. nice very large family house close to beaches

We stayed here with our family of five. By arrival very warm welcome by providing us with wine and self made cake and sweets for the children. This very large house is ideal for staying at the neighbourhood of the beaches.Very nice beach Praia do Porto de Mos only 3 minutes walk away. Very well situated, easy access to all you need to see at the Algarve, such as slide & splash waterpark, Cabo São Vincente and so on. Hughe House, with lot of space: great bathrooms. large bedrooms, and a nice livingroom and a very large kitchen. Good for self catering stay in the Algarve. The interior design is bright, clean and welcoming. The owners have thought of all the practicalities (washingmachine, large refigirator and so on) so that it really is a home from home in terms of carefree self-catering living, both indoors as outdoors such a balcony and terasse near the swimmingpool. We're budget travellers so that's very important for us because eating out is an exception rather than the norm. Lidl 4 minutes drive away from the hpuse

Highly recommended

Stayed here with a group of six adults and everyone had a fantastic time. The property is modern, clean and spacious and located in a safe neighbourhood within walking distance of both town and the beaches. If anything, the photos do not do it justice. It is also equipped with very fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which was greatly appreciated! The owner is very accommodating and easy to deal with. The whole experience was stress-free and we will definitely be back if we are in Lagos again.

Maison très bien entretenue

Les propriétaires étaient très sympa et la maison nickel. La plage reste possible à pied (ça descend un peu :) ) même avec nos enfants. Le coin est par ailleurs très sympa. et proche de toutes les commodités. A choisir sans souci. Muito obrigado
