The city of Lagos in the western Algarve offers the ideal combination of traditional Portuguese culture, charming beaches and modern tourist facilities. The original charm and character can be felt everywhere in the historic city centre with its cobbled streets and authentic restaurants.

Located between the old town and a green coastal area, the holiday apartment "Wonderful Bay" is located on the fourth and top floor of a building with an elevator.



The loft-like apartment consists of a living room with a sofa bed for one person and a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with wellness shower and toilet and can accommodate 3 people.



Wi-Fi, washing machine and a TV with cable connection are also part of the equipment.



The spacious roof terrace with a view over the city and the deep blue Atlantic Ocean is a pleasure by day and night! No matter whether you want to eat comfortably outside under the shade, have a "sundowner" cocktail in the evening or watch the lights of the city at night, you will always discover something new and enjoy the fresh sea breeze blowing around your nose.

Fantastic Views!

Location was spot on! Very close to beach and the centre of town but very quiet at night. The apartment was older but had character for sure! The terrace was the highlight of this place. The property manager was lovely !

This apartment has easy access to all beaches and city center, while being in a quiet area. The interior could use some updating, especially the couch, but otherwise a very nice stay. The balcony is great, and lets a lot of fresh air into the apartment. Would stay again for the location alone!

Die Lage des Apartments ist wirklich perfekt, man kommt schnell in die Stadt und schnell zu den Ständen. Die Terasse ist auch toll und bietet einen schönen Blick, auch den Sonnenaufgang sieht man sehr schön von hier. Außerdem war die Küche für eine Ferienwohnung wirklich gut ausgestattet. Joseph, der unser Check in gemacht hat, war sehr nett. Die Unterkunft wirkt allerdings kleiner als auf den Fotos und zu dritt war es schon etwas eng, aber aushaltbar.

Der Check-in rief reibungslos und die Wohnung war sauber. Warum die Bewertung dennoch nur ein 'okay' bekommt: - sehr spartanische Ausstattung. - das Licht im Wohnzimmer war mehr als ungemütlich. - die Badezimmertür ließ sich nur sehr schwierig bis gar nicht von innen öffnen. Eigentlich musste fast immer jemand von aussen öffnen und den 'Eingesperrten' befreien. - Dusche lief nicht ab. Die Terrasse war schön groß mit tollem Blick. Aber auch hier gilt: mit etwas Liebe zum Detail ließe sich viel mehr daraus machen. So standen dort vier Stühle und ein Tisch. Punkt.

Die Wohnung liegt in toller Lage. Strand und Zentrum sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse in Richtung Atlantik ist ebenfalls super. Leider sind uns einige Mängel aufgefallen, die das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis verschlechtern: - Klinke von Badezimmertür defekt - Zu geringer Wasserdruck in Dusche - Klodeckel fällt im Sitzen in den Rücken - Parkettboden löst sich - Fenster lassen sich nur mit viel Kraft öffnen und schließen - Terassentüren wackelig/instabil Es besteht leider etwas Renovierungsbedarf.

Wunderbar, jederzeit wieder

Superausgangslage zu Fuß sowohl für Strände als auch zum Zentrum (und Supermarkt). Gute, breite Betten, große Terrasse über zwei Seiten, daher immer etwas Schatten, mehr als genug Platz für zwei. Freundlicher Empfang, gute Kommunikation. Großer Parkplatz neben dem Campingplatz, für uns gratis, weil wir nie jemand getroffen haben, bei dem wir zahlen konnten (ansonsten auch nur 1 € pro Person).
