For starters, if you're passionate about the sea, the best and largest beaches on the Algarve Coast are right next door. This was the perfect spot for us to stay during our first trip to Lagos. In addition to providing lots of information prior to our arrival, Susana met us when we checked in and was incredibly helpful getting us familiar with the apartment and providing directions to a grocery store, restaurants, beaches. We were within walking distance of the old town, shops and several amazing beaches. On-site parking and pool privileges were a huge bonus. Many thoughtful extra touches like coffee, dishwasher and washer detergent, paper products, a small safe and mid-stay cleaning made our stay much more pleasant and comfortable than we have encountered with other rentals. Despite the hustle and bustle of the marina area, this apartment was secure, quiet and the balcony view was idyllic. Thank you for everything Susana, we hope to have an opportunity to visit again soon!

Absolutely perfect! Spotlessly clean with contemporary decor, this apartment has a stunning view of the Marina. The host, Susana, was very friendly and informative and the check in process was easy.The apartment has a large balcony and includes a table and chairs and sun loungers. Everything within the apartment was well thought out with all practical accessories provided. The apartment is in great proximity to the variety of restaurants and bars of the Marina but lovely and quiet. It's also in a great position to access the lovely Old Town with a beautiful walk around the Marina on the way.We had a great and memorable stay.

This is the second time we've stayed at Marina Berrio-T1.The apartment is very well equipped with everything you would need. The location is within walking distance of the beach and Old Town.Situated on the marina ,there are lots of restaurants and bars. Our hosts Andre and Susana were wonderful and accomodating.Very easy to communicate with.

Enjoyed our stay at apartment. Only a few comments.Maybe some more useable utensils in kitchen ie garlic press, cheese grater and small sharp knife. Too many knives and forks! Also, maybe another ovenproof dish.Also, think in near future, maybe replace sofa and chair.Overall perfect, just apart from above. Nothing too much trouble for Suzanna.

Very nice!

The apartment served us well. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Wonderful, unique shower with outstanding water pressure. The proximity to the train and bus stations were very convenient, as was the walking bridge to the town.

Winter getaway in Lagos

We stayed three weeks in February and loved the area and time away from the snow at home! Susana and Andre are wonderful people and were so helpful with information about the area. They were very quick to respond to any concerns…including driving from their home to help us with a key issue. Lovely people.The apartment was very clean and the location was perfect for travel connections as the bus and train station were within 10 minutes walking distance.We did not rent a car and managed to get around the area by city bus, trains and Ubers which are very cheap and excellent. Andre suggested this the first day and we used Ubers frequently.The apartment is exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped although there are no spices of any kind if you plan to cook. That is no problem for us as we always travel with a few basics but it might be helpful to know.The bathroom did not vent very well and consequently the humidity was very high. Towels never seemed to get dry. The bed was comfortable. The view over the marina was lovely. Washing machine worked really well…much better than any other European washing machine we have used in the past while travelling. Lagos is a lovely area to explore and Susana and Andre’s property is a wonderful base to use while you are doing your exploring.

A week on November

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculate and the Marina view was great. Susana was exception to deal with. Easy walk to the grocery store and old town. Uber was easily available to take you anywhere. Bikes were provided and there is a great boardwalk along the beach to a few beach side restaurants. Would recommend.

Ideal place to stay

This apartment is in a great position with easy access to all the sites of Lagos. We loved that the Pingo Doce supermarket was just a short walk away and all other attractions were close by. Everything was as described and our host was friendly and helpful.

The apartment is beautifully refurbished and very well equipped. Everything is there. Spotlessly clean, A/c works well and the bed is very comfortable. It is on the 3rd floor so the views over the marina are wonderful. It has a small lift, so no need to climb the stairs!! Owners always contactable even when we arrived at 1.30 am. For the money....exceptional.

Excellent Apt in Lagos

Spent two weeks second half of March and really enjoyed Lagos, the area and the Apt. We really liked location as easy walk to center of town (across pedestrian bridge), a few blocks to nice grocery store and some very close nice restaurants. Easy walk to wonderful 5km long Meia Praia beach. If you enjoy walking/hiking, you will love it. Hike as far as you want towards Luz, Salema or further on Fisherman’s Trail. Super hosts who met us at check in. Top floor of 4 story building, but elevator available if needed. You will like this choice for a Lagos/Algarve stay!

Best location

Our stay was perfect in every way. The marina district is beautiful and has every amenity close by. Grocery store, restaurants and old town all within a 10 minute walk. The apartment is super clean, has a very comfortable king bed and the room darkening curtains in the bedroom were great since the bedroom faces south. Living room furniture was comfortable and clean and the balcony was lovely for a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the marina. Susana ∧re were very helpful with info and check in, and fast response to any of our questions. The beach, train station and boardwalk are easily accessible within minutes. We only rented a car for 3 days in a 2 week stay to see the surrounding area. We will definitely return.

5 Star Stay All Around

This condo checked all of the boxes for us. It is clean and inviting, with a beautiful view, comfortable furniture (the bed is or is like a tempurpedic and provided a great nights rest) and nice amenities, an outside area for lounging and a gorgeous view. The location was perfect - walkable to the beach, a supermarket, the main town square, restaurants and bars. After exploring we determined we would not have wanted to be located anywhere else. We also want to note the wonderful hosts Susana and Andre. They responded to any question timely, shared great recommendations, and even helped us get into a dentist when an accident happened.

Great hosts and appartment with all that you’ll need

Very very clean!! Great view and sun exposure on deck - all amenities are top notch. It’s on top floor so nobody walking on your head. Even have bicycles to use to get around- short walk to city center, restaurants , grocery store and beach - Lagos is nice and quiet- only negative is that sometimes marina smells weeds but this happens rarely it’s part of being water front.

Lovely condo with huge deck overlooking the marina!

We loved our stay in the wonderful condo. It was wonderfully equipped, comfortable and we loved the design. It was central to everything and all you could want was 5 minutes away. We had many lovely times on the huge deck overlooking the marina. The beach nearby was so beautiful too. We would return in a heartbeat!
