Our room had a full kitchen, full living room, a lanai and washer & dryer. Bed was comfortable with a tv in the bedroom and living room. We loved sitting on lanai and watching surfers and the turtles. The room was oceanfront. Just beautiful.

The views are EXCELLENT, Fairy and stay are so friendly and helpful. We have stayed twice and are planning our trip back, this place doesn't have full amenities like a full blown resort but the value, views and friendliness will keep us here at Aston Mahana!!!

Having a full kitchen and washer drier was a huge money saver for us. We enjoyed dinners on the patio at sunset almost every night. The room was nicely appointed, but a little dated. The one area that bugged us was kind of minor, but with water restrictions on the island, it was surprising to find that the shower could really use a flow control- or better shower head - as it gushed and wasted gallons of water without any way to control the flo. Other then that the place was great for our 8 day stay. We will come back soon.

Nice and accommodating staff. Room was HORRIBLE! This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Our room was full of cockroaches and had bed bugs. It was disgusting. I am extremely disappointed with this and disgusted. Every morning I woke up with new bed bug bites on my chest, arms, and legs and to top it off, every morning I found more cockroaches…mind you we didn’t even cook or eat in our hotel because of how grossed out we were. I rate this hotel a 2/10 only because of how helpful and nice the staff was. Other than that, I’d give it a zero.

Best location. Property could use a little love with upgrades but location right on the water more than makes up for it. Beautiful west facing so amazing sunsets. Walk straight to the Kaanapali beach - amazing beach. Local shops close by. And whalers village a 5 minute drive. Great shopping and dining there! I don’t want to stay anywhere else when I visit Maui again.

We’ve stayed at the Aston Mahana for years, but this anniversary trip was awful. We were given a moldy room unsafe for my health, and the front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. Management brushed it off, saying the mold “wasn’t an issue” and even moved another guest into that same room. Later, someone else was mistakenly sent into our reassigned room while our belongings were inside. Management said they had computer issues that caused the mix up. What used to be our favorite getaway has become one of our most stressful travel experiences.
