    Upon check in, the receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was very surprised at the $200.00 cleaning fee, on a $200 a night condo. I don’t mind the $400 total, but it should be upfront. It’s a ground floor condo, garden view, and I thought it was a great deal, but for $400 I could have an ocean view room. I only needed it for one night, and it was fine for that. Just feel that all fees should be up front. The staff was excellent and atentive.

    Rooms are clean but a little bit outdated I guess some of the units are renovated not the unit that are given to us. Just make sure when booking read the fine print because when I booked the here I only read the price details which says all tax and fees are included. But when I get to the hotel I was being told that I have to pay extra $350++ for the cleaning fee which I thought it’s included when I booked the hotel. So you have no choice just to pay the extra fees.

    The resort is great, rooms are great. The issue was the manager there who checked us into the room she seemed to want to critique our choice of a 2 night stay as if it wasnt long enough for her like as if our vacation was a waste of time. She then bragged about how her husband supposedly caught all the fish me and my wife bought from the store. Then when i checked out she didnt look me in my eye a SINGLE time. Even when she said have a nice day she purposely didnt look at me like i was scum. I dont need the passive aggressive attitude when i go somewhere and i hope this woman is let go from her position there and maybe she can go be a fisherman with her husband

    I wish I had known the company that manages the apartment units (Aston) is separate from the front desk that manages the communal areas. Aston does not have people onsite to help if something happens with your room, you have to contact them online or phone, then they might send someone. Their hours are also inconvenient because they close before 4pm. We checked in and were welcomed with a large HIDDEN CLEANING FEE. Once we got to the room the bed frame was broken. We tried contacting the front desk, but they said they couldn't help and we need to contact Aston. And since it was past 4pm there was nothing we could do. Like i said, I wish I'd known before booking this place. I didn't want to deal with moving rooms or using my vacation time to wait for their help the next day - we had plans for an early start in the morning. Eventually I did email them and they refunded me back the cleaning fee. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. There are too many middlemen. The headache of extra fees and broken furniture is not something I want to deal with on vacation. Might as well stay at a big name hotel for a little more money since that is what you will be charged at the end of the day. In addition, they'll have people who can actually be there to help you. Or go cheaper with an Airbnb where you know the price ahead of time.
