Kaanapali Royal Resort #D-102 is in an ideal location for experiencing all that the Kaanapali area has to offer. This gated condominium resort of 15 three-level buildings is situated on the Kaanapali Royal Golf Course. Over 1,500+ sq ft with an extremely large lanai area, this condominium is located on the ground level and walks out to the 16th fairway of the Robert Trent Jones designed Kaanapali Royal Golf Course.

Top-of-the-line features include porcelain ceramic tile floors, granite counter tops, custom stone showers, extra-large bathtub, gallery-quality art, and beautiful furnishings and amenities. The Master Bedroom includes a king-sized bed; the Second Bedroom, a queen-sized bed; and the Living Area, a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Excellent Location & Spacious Unit With Views

Easy check-in, photos on VRBO were accurate. This is a roomy, 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit situated right on the golf course on the first level. Easy walk to Whaler’s Village, restaurants and beach. Would definitely stay here again. Property manager is excellent too and responded immediately for a minor issue. Pool & jacuzzi were uncrowded, sometimes completely empty, pool water was nice & warm, great for relaxing & lounging. We prepared many of our meals in the condo. Keurig Coffee Machine was a bonus. Washer & dryer were nice to have - we used several times during our 12-night stay. Late April to early May turned out to be an excellent time to visit.

Exceeded expectations.

Perfect property and location in KAANAPALI. Absolutely no issues with the unit and everyone loved the stay. Clean, modern and fantastic space. Management super great to deal with and quick to communicate. All you will need with lovely golf course views. 5-10min walk to beaches and Whalers village. Could not have been more pleased with unit.

Our host, Emmett, was wonderful. Easy check-in and check-out. Great golf course view from family room and lanai. Parking was easy and close to our unit. The bedrooms are both of nice size but carpet needs to be replaced.

Great place

The house was well supplied and fresh towels and fresh linen. The cooking utensils and kitchen facilities will relatively new. The owner had left some supplies so that we didn’t have to run around to go to the supermarket for minor things which was very generous. Overall, the house is very well-kept and a great place to stay.

Very nice property close to Whalers Village, the beach, and other activities most visitors would enjoy. The only down side was that there was construction going on (roof shingling) and the lower parking lots were closed Construction crew started early

The location and property were just right.

We were attending a wedding and the property was perfect for our needs. We didn’t utilize all the available amenities and kitchen appliances, but there are many. One thing to be aware of are the additional charges for parking, resort fees, vrbo fees, and owner fees. Easily double the advertised price when considering the actual cost per night.

Very comfortable and relaxing

The directions to the condo and the check in instructions were so helpful. The condo was clean, well decorated, beds were super comfortable. The whole space is relaxing. Love sitting on the back patio enjoying the sunset. Only 2 minor cons- the condo has a very musty smell. Totally understandable with a humid environment, but it was a rather prominent smell. The other is the cost of parking. Was very expensive to park our car. Other than that, it was a fantastic place and I would absolutely stay again.

Maui Christmas

The unit is in a perfect location on the golf course close to Whalers Village. The pool/hot tub and grills are nearby and all of these are in excellent condition. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed and furniture, as well as some beach items, were very nice and made us feel at home. We had two people using a sofa sleeper and they said it was comfortable. Since the unit faces westward the owner has installed remote-controlled blinds to help with the afternoon sun. A really good feature. Unfortunately, only two of the three blinds worked. Additionally, the light on the ceiling fan on the lanai did not work. The only other area that needed some work was the exterior wall off the second bedroom lanai. Communication with the property manager was very good with a quick response. We would gladly return to this unit and would rate it just below a 5 due to the needed repairs mentioned above.

Everything we wanted and more

So many positives to highlight here. The rental is very nicely appointed on the inside with everything we needed for our visit. The kitchen has everything we needed, plus a good stock of beach supplies (chairs, boogie board, fins). Our boys are 8 and 6, so we used the complex pool and hot tub most evenings. The property manager was also fantastic and flexible - we had to change our dates at one point and he was super accommodating. For our flight back, we had a late redeye and with no one checking in the next day, he gave us a late checkout that allowed us to e joy the beach all day and still grab a shower before heading to the airport. A small thing that gave us a full extra day of vacation. The walk to Whalers Village is easy, although we drove most days to haul beach stuff with us and parking was never a problem. The only slight downside here is that the complex itself looks/feels a bit dated. But this rental has been updated and was really nice, so we didn't have any complaints.
