Lovely room but would have liked a bathroom door with more privacy. Note no lift, apparently not permitted in historic building.

A charming place in an extraordinary region

Highly recommended! A charming place, hosted by extremely pleasant owners who will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We had a great time in Alto Adige and Gasthof Sur Sonne was definitely a plus to our stay. Thank you once again!

Bad Business

Where do I begin?? First with the good. The room was nice and modern. The shower was spacious and clean. Location is nice and in the countryside. Now here is why I give a 1 star. Upon check in, we encountered two younger teenage boys at the desk playing computer games. We had to ask the bartender to check us in. She said she needed to keep our passports and threw them in an unlocked draw. She then gave us a keychain with no key to get into the room and then blamed us for no key. During the evening, you can hear everything in the restaurant below late into the evening. The morning of checkout, we sat down to eat a roll and yogurt and were told that we weren’t allowed to continue to eat at the table we were sitting because it was a big table. The restaurant was practically empty. Bad business! When we went to checkout, I started packing the car with our luggage and a man outside was yelling at me to move the car because he needed the space. This was the place I was told to park in by the hotel. What a mess. The location was great but I suggest to find somewhere else to stay. The place is being run by underage teenagers and a clueless owner.

Es tut mir sehr leid das etwas schief gegangen ist, mein Englisch ist sehr schlecht u. so hat der Herr nicht verstanden das der Tisch für 10 Leute reserviert war u. er seinen eigenen Tisch hatte. Wir haben einmal Markt in Lajen, 8 März u. ein Angestellter der Gemeinde wollte den Herrn bitten das Auto zu verstellen weil ein Stand da aufgebaut werden sollte, Außerdem hat die Gemeinde schon am Tag vorher Schilder aufgestellt u. die Gäste informiert.

Note negative: Di questi tempi lasciare la bottiglia dell'acqua non finita della sera prima vicino alla finestra del tuo tavolo per apparecchiarla la mattina e la sera dopo senza sapere se qualcuno può averci fatto qualsiasi cosa visto che aperta non ci sembra un ottima idea, il risparmio fino ad un certo punto Altra nota negativa, non abbiamo avuto nemmeno un caffè offerto dalla casa, tutto pagato fino all'ultimo centesimo Voto 5 Pulizia camera ok Personale al bar gentile e disponibile Personale in sala gentile e disponibile

Quel accueil! Le propriétaire est exceptionnel ,toujours le sourire et prêt à satisfaire les clients tout le temps La chambre très propre et salle de bain tres spacieuse et moderne . Le petit déjeuner très varié ,avec d’excellents produits .
