Relax in this Hamptons-inspired cozy beach house, enjoying 160-degree ocean views and views over the headland, designed with modern touches and comfort in mind—just one street back from the beach. Lovingly detailed, the relaxed and open-plan interior blends indoor and outdoor living seamlessly. A bright, airy, and stylish modern interior, renovated in white tones and just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, offers the perfect coastal getaway.
Truly comfortable with ducted air conditioning throughout the living area and bedrooms. The beds are made with crisp white linen. Fully fenced garden. Pet-friendly—we love dogs! Just please inform us in advance if you're bringing them.
THE SPACE
BEDDING
2 bedrooms and 2 beds:
Master bedroom with a king-size bed
Second bedroom with a queen-size bed
The master bedroom opens onto the back deck—gaze at the outdoor view, starry sky, or ocean sunrise with a morning coffee in bed.
LAYOUT
Downstairs features a spacious kitchen with all appliances you need for a comfortable stay, including a breakfast/dining table or the option to dine outdoors on the deck.
The open-plan master bedroom is on the left, and the second bedroom is on the right. A bathroom is located in the hallway between the rooms, facing the outdoor deck. An additional "sneaky" toilet is in the laundry room off the outdoor back deck.
The back deck has two levels:
The upper level is for seating or dining.
The lower level is a lounge area with optional hammock hooks and a hammock provided.
The drop-down deck opens out onto a large, sloped green lawn. The yard is fully fenced.
Upstairs features a very comfortable lounge/TV room with a 55-inch smart TV and a separate veranda offering stunning ocean views. You can watch whales pass by from May to November during their annual migration.
WALK TO BEACH, CAFES & SHOPS
The house is located on the beach side of Ocean Drive, the main coastal road from Lake Cathie to Port Macquarie. The beach is a one-minute walk via a short lane; Middle Rock surf break is 800 meters away.
Once you’re at the house and on the back deck, you’ll feel surrounded by a relaxing environment, barely remembering that you’re in the heart of Lake Cathie—with cafés, restaurants, a tavern, and shopping center just 500 meters down the road.
Lake Cathie is a small coastal town with no traffic lights—just a few main streets—and traffic dies down after the evening.
PET-FRIENDLY UPON REQUEST
We love dogs and pets. As a courtesy to the property owner, please let us know the breed type. We also use this info for statistics and planning cleaning.
