Very happy with hotel. Soundproof rooms, comfortable mattresses, very clean. And, my room had a microwave! Staff extremely polite and efficient. Restaurant was great, they need more wine choices and almond milk. Definitely will stay here again when visiting my mother-in-law at Laguna Woods as only 10 minutes away.

Property was clean and the staff friendly On the down side: Light motion sensor in the bathroom did not work. Had to figure out how to manually turn on the light at night. Paper cups were supplied with the ice bucket for drinks. They leaked.

Staff did not inform me there would be $20 fee per day and simply just asked for a deposit in case there was damages after when checking in. Did not provide any details about anything when checking in. Room service claim was they are open until 10pm. Called to order room service at 8:27pm and told its closed. No details and abrupt hung-up. We walked downstairs and it had been obvious the restaurant was closed for a while as it was dark and no activity at 8:35pm. Stop advertising room service online and on papers that they close at 10pm. It’s false information. When I checked out was surprised and got an email saying I had been charged $40 for the 2 days i used their parking. Again staff failed to mention there was this fee eve when checking out. Will not come back here again.

Our son just moved to college so we chose this hotel to stay the night for unpacking, etc. We are actually looking for a hotel to stay regularly when we are up visiting. Overall we liked the hotel. Very quiet (except the Clydesdale horse that was in the room above us, but not the hotel’s fault) Given that the hotel is right on the freeway, it is remarkably quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the lobby is lovely. Lots of snack options. The downside was the breakfast, not great, and the fact that they are trying to cram everyone into a small area for breakfast when there’s a rather large eating area, was irritating. I’m sure other items were good but we didn’t enjoy our breakfast at all. So we left. Mainly because one of the bussers/server insisted on mopping while we were eating. Such a turn off. When I politely asked the gentleman if he could wait a few minutes, he said “no, I have to mop before lunch.” Meanwhile there was hardly anyone even eating except the people crammed in the breakfast area. I’m mad I didn’t hold my ground, but my husband did speak with the fellow at the front desk and he comped our breakfast (not what I was after, but it was a nice gesture). I thought the guy mopping was rude and no one should have to smell bleach while trying to gag down over cooked eggs. Other than the breakfast fiasco, we might come back because it is a nice hotel, but hopefully this can be remedied in the future.
