Room was clean. It did not have a microwave, but the staff promptly provided one when it was requested. The complimentary breakfast was better on the weekend. The weekday breakfast did not have eggs or sausage. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I was so busy, I never turned on the TV, so can't comment on that. The indoor pool area was clean, although I didnt have a chance to use that either.

The room we checked in had hairs on the sheet and pillow, so we had to change to another room. The gentle man at front desk was very nice. But the smell of the room was not pleasant, we had to open the window for the whole night.

When we tried to check in an hour early the room was ready but it was going to be a $50 charge Needless to say we didn’t check in early When we got to our room the smoke detector was chirping and they had no one to check it Finally after an hour we were given a new room The bath towels were terrible

The staff waa friendly and helpful. It was close to downtown lake george which was nice. Our room wasnt very clean. The bathroom epsecially. Hairs in the shower and pink mold. And the floor had hairs and dirt. I know the sheets were cleaned but there was a ton of stains and it just looked gross. I know its a best western but the cleaners seem to not be the best. They can at least clean good after other customers.

Hotel room was infested with ants. Woke up at 4 am and had ants crawling all over me in bed. When I told the agent at the front desk all she could say was I’m sorry. Will never stay at that hotel again.

This hotel should not carry the best western name.

The hotel itself was maintained well. The rooms were clean when we entered them, but the maid service was horrible and the safe that was offered to us in the room was broken and they were supposed to come and fix the locks and they only did in one of our rooms ignored the other room. Beds were not made service was not there not enough towels in the room extra charge for the two extra people I had in my room which I paid one towel for four people had to go to the desk constantly to get towels cause the rooms were not cleaned in the morning so there were no towels left behind. We stayed three nights. I’ve stayed at this hotel often throughout the years many times and I understand management had changed through the years, but never experience this bad service not caring in the hotel. And under the best Western name, it’s a crime because I’ve stated plenty of best westerns through the years and they’ve all been excellent in service and in cleanliness. In addition on the last day, one one of the rooms we were locked out of at 8 o’clock in the morning when we went to go get a cup of coffee when checkout is 11 o’clock. In addition to when I was checking out, I almost felt like I was being mocked by the rep at the desk.

I stay at the best western in lake george whenever I visit the area for a short visit. It is very conveniently located immediately off interstate exit 21.. My hair salon is a 5 min drive. On my last visit, I decided that I wanted to go "Out on the town".. so i googled area nightspots and decided on a place on canada street. I was walking solo and it was a quick easy walk there. I even saw thursday night fireworks on the way. I walked back to the hotel later.. area felt very safe. My room was clean and comfortable. After I checked out the following am, I was allowed to relax poolside until I was ready to leave. And I LOVE the outdoor pool... my favorite hotel amenity... The staff( at desk) pleasant and efficient..( and checked my room first to ensure that it wasnt otherwise occupied.

Everything was very clean. The room was so nice! The one critique I would have is that we had to wait quite a while for someone to come check us in. Also, there was no one there when we were ready to check out.
