"Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure" is a brand new gated six (6) bedroom, seven (7) bathroom (plus outdoor shower) home built in the tradition of the classic 1940's lake house homes of yesterday. With 5000+- sq.ft. of air-conditioned living space and 5000+- sq.ft. of covered porch space, the home's 10,000+- square feet of living space provides significant indoor and covered outdoor space to spread out and enjoy the lake made famous by the movie "Dirty Dancing". The on-porch 50 inch Roku TV allows guests to watch sports while enjoying the outdoors under the covered 12 foot wide porch. The middle on-porch bed swing provides countless hours of reading and relaxation opportunities. With three (3) covered porch's to choose from guests have ample opportunities to enjoy the views of Rumbling Bald and Lake Lure. Prior to arrival you will receive a guest preference questionnaire which will help us further refine your stay's possibilities at Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure. Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure has four King Bed (4) en-suite bedrooms, two (2) bunkrooms and an elevator (extra charge) connecting all floors. Rumbling Pointe has a natural sandy beach for easy lake access and a dock and boat house.
This property has an active monitored fire, theft and water security system and eight active security cameras on premise. Two cameras are pointed to the driveway facing the gate and road and a second pointed down the driveway towards the house. One camera faces down the rear stairs towards the boathouse. One camera faces towards the boat house and the lake shore. One camera faces the HVAC equipment and the south side of the house. Two cameras face north and south along the third floor balcony. And one camera faces north along the second floor balcony. No cameras face towards the interior of the home. All cameras are for security and insurance purposes only. 3301244

Above and beyond!

Michael's property was absolutely gorgeous! The house itself has such a great layout, any and every amenity you could need, and more than enough space for our group of 10. The dock and backyard area is also great, and the cove felt very quiet and calm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

Fabulous location

Family get together from various parts of the country - we didn’t need to leave the house. The “beachfront” aspect made this house perfect as the kids were watchable from the various patios and essentially played in the water all day every day. Very well laid out home that was spotlessly clean as well. Last, the concierge service made it all easier. All in all wonderful stay!

Great Stay at Lake Lure

We had a great vacation at Lake Lure. The home was beautiful, very clean and perfect for our family of 14. We appreciated that all the adult bedrooms had king size beds and huge bathrooms. The porches were huge and we spent a great deal of time with the kids just hanging out on the porches when the weather was less than ideal. Emily was extremely helpful, and only a text away if we needed anything. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family!

Peaceful family weekend

We had an outstanding stay for the weekend at Lake Lure. It is a beautiful home well set up for a combination of adults and children with a great central gathering area and 2nd floor porch. Great access to the water with a walk in beach that was enjoyable for the younger kids. Amazing views all day long! The team and concierge service made our stay incredibly convenient going out of their way to pick up a few critical items we had left behind, allowing us to relax and enjoy the time with family. 5 stars and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent..highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week! 4 couples..4 king sized beds..So comfortable! Boys room downstairs and girls room (2 boys..2 girls) with game room in between..all bedrooms and living rooms look out to water..which we loved waking up and seeing first thing! Easy access to water..small slope..no steps.. lots of water toys..and rented a pontoon boat for a day. Stay there..you won’t be sorry!

Piecuch Family Vacation 2024

AMAZING Property!!! We just had a 4 family and grandchildren reunion at this house and hated to leave. Beautiful quiet location on lake with sandy beach, plenty kayaks,paddle boards and water activities. The bedrooms are huge, plenty of room, kids loved the “ bunky” bed rooms. Amazing kitchen , pantry and the ice maker was a big bonus. The concierge Emily was so helpful with sticking the kitchen for us, anything we needed… very well thought out house and furnishings to make our vacation wonderful!!

Lake Heaven

This is our 11th year at Lake Lure and needless to say this house blew it out of the park. Emily, the Conciege, was fabulous. Definitely got our vacation off to a fantastic start. The house is fabulous and was perfect for our family. My family ranges from 10 months old to 82 years old. The view from the back porch is beautiful and we loved the private beach for the little ones (and the older ones). We will be back next year to enjoy the wonderful accommodations. Best vacation ever.

Fantastic location on lake lure

Beautiful lake front house with all the amenities! House is even better than the pictures! Our multigenerational family of 12, ages 6-94, spent July 4th week in this brand new luxury home. Everything is in pristine condition and extremely well stocked with everything we could wish for to cook in the amazing kitchen. The kids loved being ably to walk into the lake from the yard. Bob and Emily were very responsive to all our questions and went above and beyond to full fill any needs. Emily, the concierge, was a wonderful addition. We give everything about our experience a 5 star rating!

Best Place Ever!

We have been using VRBO for our family get together since 2008, and have always had good results. Comparing all of the properties/managers we’ve had, this property was by far the BEST place we’ve ever had! Emily the concierge is an absolute gem—responsive and helpful 24/7. The property afforded all 16 of us plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was so easy to work in and the pantry!!! The water toys were almost never ending. The kids had the time of their lives. One other note—from all the grown ups—the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever had! We would not hesitate to return in the future. Thank you so much for sharing this property with our family!

Beyond Expectations!

This was hands down the best, and nicest rental property I've ever stayed at! We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and the concierge and owners did so much to make us feel special. From leaving a little gift basket upon arrival, to bringing breakfast sandwiches over on the morning of our wedding. It was beyond what we even hoped for. The place is fully equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfy, and the concierge service is next level! If you're getting married at Rumbling Bald, I would 10 out of 10 recommend trying to stay here. It made our weekend that much better, and more memorable! They also host weddings/ events here for smaller groups, so we had all our family over before our wedding for a cookout. It was just perfect! BEST VRBO I've ever stayed in!

There are not enough words

I wish I had the appropriate words to capture our experience. I spent a great deal of time looking for the perfect venue for a multigenerational family to celebrate some significant milestones and I couldn’t be more pleased with this home. It was exquisite and there was no detail left unaddressed from the expansive layout, the three floors of outdoor space, the stocked fridge and the gourmet kitchen, the amenities bathroom baskets… when Emily, our concierge said that all we needed to bring was ourselves she couldn’t have been more honest! Four generations of my family were able to cook together, play games, spend time on the lake and around the fire pit and create long-lasting memories. We will be back!

Long Weekend

We stayed at this property on a guys weekend/bachelor trip/golf trip. 9 guys total. The property is honestly incredible. Better than advertised. Perfect for a large group…ample space for everyone, great amenities (dock, games, porches, fire pi, etc). Unbelievable view of the lake and it’s a 2 minute golf cart ride (which was also provided to us at no additional cost) to a golf club restaurant and beach that were open to the public. The house even comes with a concierge who was extremely helpful, communicative, and accommodating. This was my first time to Lake Lure and we will definitely be back. Next time I come to Lake Lure with my own family I intend to stay at this property again. From what I saw of the area I think this is the highest quality large rental home in the market. Highly recommend.

Family Holiday Adventure

Our family could not have been more excited or impressed with this Lake Lure home! Every detail was executed to perfection; it could be featured in Southern Living magazine, including the holiday decor. The four master bedrooms with baths met every need of the four couples. The two "bunk" rooms for the younger generations were large and extremely comfortable. And the fact that all 6 bedrooms had wonderful views of the lake and decks to relax and enjoy the view was a wonderful surprise. In spite of the chilly weather, we were able to fish from the dock and shore, play many yard games, and enjoy s'mores around the fire pit. The kitchen was fully equipped for our breakfasts, lunches, and two dinners in the house. Emily, the concierge could not have been more helpful, even delivering a forgotten phone to us so we could still make our flight. We look forward to returning in the summer!

Rumbling Bald

Mirror words cannot express the beauty of this lovely Lake home. With each wonderfully planned detail it was an experience that will be remembered by my extended family and grandchildren! Michael and beth, our hosts, communicated with me without delay and answered every question that I had. They're concierge was ever so helpful in preparing the home for us to visit as well as explaining all of the amenities available. Our grandchildren had hours of fun on the paddle boards and the boat that we rented and docked on their lovely boathouse dock. Down by the front end the four king suites, the two children's bunk rooms, the Pac-Man machine, the wonderful gourmet kitchen, and access to fantastic fishing made our trip so enjoyable that we are going to return next year and book well in advance!! Thank you Michael and Beth, and Emily!
