This classic retreat, reminiscent of the "good ole days," features a unique sun porch adorned with large windows, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking scenery while enjoying the gentle mountain breeze. The cozy wood-burning fireplace invites you to unwind on cool nights, making it the perfect spot for family gatherings or romantic evenings.

The main floor boasts an open layout, complete with a welcoming entryway featuring a day-bed, a dining area, bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. The main level also has a primary bedroom. Once you venture downstairs, via outdoor steps, you will discover a room with twin bed and TV connected to two other bedrooms and a bathroom with a washer and dryer. The bedroom to the right is a queen bedroom and to the left is a bedroom with two twin beds.

Step outside to enjoy the expansive deck and attached floating dock, where you can swim, kayak, or simply relax while taking in the stunning lake views. With two kayaks available, adventure awaits right at your doorstep. The boathouse provides easy access to the cool waters, perfect for fishing or just enjoying a refreshing dip.

Due to tropical storm Helene the town of Chimney Rock will remain closed until further notice. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
