The fire pit cannot be used between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm between the 1st April and 31st October. During certain times there is a total ban on outdoor burning. Please ensure the fire is completely extinguished after each use.

Please refrain from wearing shoes indoors to help maintain a clean and healthy environment and prevent damage to the wood floors.

Please keep doors and screens closed to prevent wildlife from entering the property.

There are two 65 inch flat screen tv with Roku. Sign in and sign out of your own personal Netflix, YouTube and other streaming channels.

There is no fence around the yard so children must be supervised at all times.

You will have free access to the central cooling and heating controls. Please note that the house is spacious with an open concept and lots of glass windows so it may require time to cool and heat to your specific preference.

The Weber bbq grill is hooked up to a propane line so there is no need to worry about refills.

The house is located in the heart of cottage country. As such, power cuts can and do sometimes occur. We have a newly installed Generac backup generator that can power the entire property during a power outage.

The property is sprayed regularly for mosquitoes during spring and summer.

For the winter months, the driveway, fire pit, sauna and hot tub access are cleared and a couple of shovels will be left for your convenience during your stay. The driveway is level and accessible even in winter conditions. We do, however, recommend snow tires as there is a small hill to the property and if you plan to explore the area.

An arrival guide containing essential information and instructions about the use of the sauna, wood burning hot tub and grill etc. is provided. It is absolutely essential to read this before your arrival as it answers many questions you may have and your stay will go more smoothly.

The furniture in the Muskoka room and balcony are not usable during the winter.

Snow on the second floor balcony is not cleared regularly and so is not accessible. Please keep this door closed.

There may be some differences from the pictures for certain items for example rugs and blankets as these may be out for specialized cleaning but there will always be replacements in the meantime. Outdoor furniture maybe removed due to weather. We also decorate seasonally!
