Such a nice place!

Cute place, convenient for hockey
Posted Jan. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family of three stayed here for a long weekend due to a hockey tournament at the Olympic rink. It was very convenient to the rink (literally a block) and downtown. The decor was cute, the bed was comfortable and we had a good stay.
If I were going to rent again, however, I would rent one of the upstairs units rather than this one. The ceilings were thin and we could hear the people above us all day and night. They were not partying or being obnoxious, it was just constant noise. I was also surprised by the fact that there were not even basic welcoming supplies provided for a morning coffee. No sugar, no tiny cream packet, no coffee, no filters, nothing. I know the trend for rentals like these is to provide the bare minimum but there was *nothing*. I wasn’t told otherwise, so I am not complaining, but I wish I had not assumed there would be something to get through the first morning. The weather was also cold and snowy during our trip. Part of the checkout is to take out the trash (again, normal) but neither the walkway in front of the building nor the area in front of the outside trash container was shoveled so I was wading through shin-high snow to throw the trash out.

Posted Dec. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayThis place was so well cared for, inviting and comfortable. It had all the kitchen necessities from home. Communication with owner was very responsive and accommodating. Very close to Olympic rinks and village. I highly recommend staying here and I hope to be back.

Well decorated 2 bedroom apartment
Posted Nov. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayMy husband, I stayed over Thanksgiving and weekend. The apartment was well stocked and beautifully decorated in Adirondack/ski style. The apartment is about a block away from the Main Street and half a block from the skate arena. We had everything we needed for our weekend.

Perfect Weekend Away
Posted Nov. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful relaxing weekend up in Lake Placid and this property was perfect! The unit was immaculate and cozy. Kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, plates, cookware, etc. Location was close to Main Street and we did walk to the shops one day. Check-in was super easy and I would definitely rent this property again.

Posted Oct. 6, 2023 on HomeAwayCheck in was extremely easy. The apartment looked exactly the same as online. Very clean and loved we were able to bring our dogs! The sliders made it very convenient to take the dogs outside when they had to go. I would stay here again!
