No hot water in our building for three days! They said they were setting up a system for morning showers in the other building but when I went to the desk at 7am to get the key for the shower room the clerk had no idea what I was talking about. Typical for the property. Lots of 'deferred maintenance' and poorly trained staff. They make their money from having a really great location.

If you want good service, don’t stay here. We were actually told by the cleaning crew when we asked if they were coming into our room next, “you clean your own room”. Dining options were very limited. We added our name to the pier restaurant and were told they would text us when the table was ready for the 1.5 hour wait, no text. Tried sidelines, very limited menu and they were out of a bunch of items. No coffee in the lobby one day, another day no cream for the coffee. Limited seating at pool and only about 20 chairs and 3 cabanas to rent on the beach. The s’mores were a nice surprise. Dog friendly which was nice but dogs were on the outdoor patio cushion furniture so if you are ok with dog hair on clothes, you would be fine. Room was dated, but clean when we arrived. Balcony was nice to have.

Hidden gem that we wish knew about sooner

After visiting Tahoe for about 6 times we never knew about this place and wish we did. Great central location, close to lake and offered a restaurant, bar and smores for guest. Not fancy rooms but good enough. I'm told for best rates are right after Easter which we were able to take advantage of. Would def stay here again.

Charming but cramped

Lovely, well-maintained property right on the beach. So nice to sit on the balcony watching the lake and then turn on the fireplace when it got chilly. I reserved a king room and received a queen, and the room was extremely cramped. Missing lots of amenities you would expect at this price point (table or desk, microwave, vent and heat in the bathroom, etc.) Overall this was a nice choice for traveling with a pet and I would stay again but make sure I got a bigger room.

I liked my stay here—the location is excellent, right in the heart of the city with beautiful beach views and easy access to everything. However, I do believe there’s room for improvement in a few areas. For a property of this size, the hot pool felt quite small. The ice machine was out of service, and we had to go to the kitchen for ice, which was a bit inconvenient. There were no water bottles provided, and the room was quite basic, lacking a microwave and sufficient lighting. Additionally, I noticed there weren’t enough trash bins around the property, and having just one coffee machine for all guests was limiting. While there’s a resort fee, the amenities offered didn’t quite match up to that extra charge. I believe with a few enhancements, the overall experience could be significantly elevated
