Dog-Friendly Villa, Steps Away From Old Greenwood's Driving Range!

Situated in the historic town of Truckee on 600 acres of towering pines and blue sage covered hills, Old Greenwood, a premier four season luxury resort, offers a magnificent setting for the discriminating Lake Tahoe vacationer. Nestled alongside the golf course, the stylish modern decor and distinctive mountain architecture is abound in every detail of this beautiful home. The great room features massive windows, vaulted ceilings, and lots of natural light. The large, open floor plan allows for plenty of comfortable seating by the fireplace in the great room, a dining table for 6, and a spacious gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar. An expansive outdoor living space includes a deck with built-in benches, private hot tub and gas BBQ - a perfect space for lively outdoor entertaining.

This home is dog-friendly (please see Policies & Disclosures below for more details).

Located just a short walk away is The Pavilion (available at an extra fee), Old Greenwood's family oasis, that consists of an adult pool, family pool, kiddie splash pool, water slides, hot tub, playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball, games room, fitness center and spa. Old Greenwood is also home to the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Old Greenwood truly offers something for everyone - kids and kids at heart!

*Access to the amenities at the Pavilion at Old Greenwood is available for an extra fee paid in advance of your arrival. Rental guest fees are $85 per night for up to 12 registered people. ***Please note that if you choose to have access to the Pavilion, the fee will be collected for each night for the duration of your stay. There will be no refund for days/passes not used. Pavilion access needs to be requested prior to arrival. No access will be issued once in residence.

I would love to own one of these homes! This place in particular is furnished well and nicely decorated. Has plenty of space and great location. Cant wait to stay here again! Great way to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Old Greenwood Relaxation

This townhome Is walking distance to the pool and work out gym in the Pavilion. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We went to the pool side restaurant. Relaxed in the hot tub right outside the primary bath. We would recommend this home.

Very Nice

We stayed at this Old Greenwood property for NYE. The communication prior to our stay was wonderful. Brooke was amazing. I was sent a link the day before our rental became active and it contained all of the info needed for our stay. Check in was super seamless. The home location was great. It was right down the street from the Pavilion, which is where the gym and restaurant are located (the restaurant never seemed to be open during our stay). The gym was very nice. It was large with a lot of equipment and amazing views. The home looked just like the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed or our week long stay. The spa was warm and ready to go when we arrived. Everything seemed very thoughtfully executed and we really appreciated jt.

Perfect home for two families

Check-in was fast and easy. The home is beautiful and is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and rooms. Things we loved: all three bedrooms have their own bathroom, home has AC (it was hot the week we were in Truckee and not all homes have AC), the amenities at the clubhouse, and the location of the home. - We did notice that the cleaning of the home was not as detailed. The blinds were dusty, the family room TV area was dusty, and spiderwebs on top of the kitchen sink. You could tell they did clean the common areas very well it's just the extra fine details that were missed. We didn't let it bother us, we all had a great time. We made the mistake of not booking it for more nights. We could have easily spent more time there.

Wonderful Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very clean, well stocked and had amazing views from the back deck. And Old Greenwood is beautiful. The management company was wonderful! We had a little glitch and they did everything they could to take care of it and followed up with us. Between their responsiveness and the beautiful property, we had a wonderful stay. We are early risers so this wasn’t a big deal to us but may be for others - the first hole of the golf course is directly behind the property and maintenance crews arrive with blowers every morning before 7am to prepare it for play. Other than that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and certainly the management company.

Nice but cleaning issues

Nice townhome, but a bit dated and cleaning issues. Pots/pans and knives were all filthy and put back in the cabinets that way, bedding is old and not luxury, not new body cream in the bathroom (seal was broken and hair inside), a lot of dusty areas and under beds/couches not clean, super dry and had humidifiers but they were filthy with pink slime, toilet not fully cleaned, loud dripping noise in master bathroom. Not enough chairs at dining room table. Pros: beautiful location, quiet, sledding slope in back yard, sunken hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pull in garage that can fit the Thule rack on top of SUV. Other than cleaning issues, was a nice place. Feel a bit overpriced. Did not feel luxury. Family still had a nice time.

Perfect retreat!

We totally enjoyed our stay in Truckee! Close to downtown Truckee and cute shops! Private back patio on number one tee! Love the fire pit and clean hot tub! Easy drive to surrounding places around the lake. We would definitely book this spot again!

AMAZING PROPERTY AND LOCATION

this spot is AMAZING!! It’s a the perfect size. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and their was plenty of space for everyone. You could not have a better location.and the outdoor deck space is fantastic. Cannot wait to go back!! It is right across from the pool and clubhouse.

Wonderful winter escape

We just wrapped up a wonderful 2 week stay at this property with our family for the mid-winter break. It was just the retreat we needed - the home is surrounded by nature overlooking the snow covered golf course that was a great sledding hill for the kids. It's in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to all of the action (Northstar is 20 min away, 10 minutes to downtown Truckee and the Raleys One grocery store). The house comes well furnished but still feels very airy - the rooms are large and beds comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Old Greenwood

Perfect place to enjoy time away with family. The property had a fully supplied kitchen with every item you can think of. The house backs up to a golf course which makes a great walking path in the winter time. My family really enjoyed their time here as, another family member had a house down the street as well. Located just off the freeway, and is a quick drive to downtown Truckee, Northstar and both Lake Tahoe and Donner lake. Would highly recommend!

This house fit our needs very well for spending time with our daughter and her young family. The house and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well-stocked, and I appreciated having a bathroom in each bedroom. Would love to stay again!

Modern Comfort

Beautiful modern mountain home with high end amenities. This home fit two families of 4 very comfortably and we had more then enough room. This was my 6th year in a row at Old Greenwood and hope to have many more. Tahoe exclusive realty was extremely courteous and easy to work with. Cant wait for next year.
