Air conditioning was effective. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms were appreciated. The weather was perfect though. Crockery needed cleaning on arrival. Later we realised that the dishwasher was not effective at cleaning. The frying pan needs replacing. . The lounge, kitchen, were fantastic. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Loads of parking for us 8 couples with 8 cars between us. The beach was close by.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A really lovely property

Property is as advertised. Perfect location for Lancelin. Just down the road from the pub and the IGA/Bakery and coffee shop. Large home with a number of bedrooms, with comfy beds. Kitchen living room area is a great large space for families.

Fantastic house for our group of golfing ladies. The numerous bedrooms and spacious common area were excellent. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. It would be great to see the kitchenware—such as crockery, glasses, saucepans, frying pans, and utensils—updated and better stocked to suit the number of adults the house can accommodate and those that like to stay in and cook.

Fantastic Location

Great house for large groups. So much room for everyone, kids and adults.The open living area is amazing. House was well equipped with everything including 2x air fryers. Bedrooms and layout was great, single beds for kids upstairs. One of the rooms cpuld not be used as the top bunk bed was way to close to the ceiling fan to use but this didn't effect our stayLocation is ideal for those with kids. Close to the beach and walking distance to the skate park.The only issue we had was on leaving we were required to sweep the floors which is not a problem, we did make the mess after all. However, with such a large house i would get more the one broom OR have the vacuum charged ready for guests to use Would stay again in the future.

This home worked well for our family of 10. The location was perfect too ... close to beach, jetty, hotel, supermarket, cafe, bakery ... all in walking distance. Chris made us feel welcome too.

The perfect weekend mini vacation

Great house, well located in Lancelin. Hosts Chris and Robyn are great and easy to deal with. Large modern home with fantastic living and dining areas. This was our second stay at this house and we will be back again.

Our stay was fantastic. The house is large and slept all our family comfortably. The yard was very child friendly and secure. Can't recommend highly enough. Only thing missing was wine glasses.

An average stay

Our recent stay at this accommodation left us with conflicting impressions. On the positive side, the house was big and roomy, offering ample space for our large group to relax. However, we were disappointed to find most dishes were dirty upon arrival so we had to wash them all and scrub the pans which detracted from our arrival. Additionally, the very uncomfortable beds and pillows made sleep difficult, fortunately the local iga sells pillows so we had to purchase new pillows. The absence of an indoor broom hindered cleanliness- there was only a vacuum and an outdoor broom. The lack of internet and TV connection was a major downside. We enquired multiple times to try to remedy this however it wasn’t solved, and as it was the Easter long weekend the internet connection on our phones was extremely limited as the network was overloaded so we barely had any connection all weekend. Overall, while the size of the house was impressive, a number of improvements are needed to enhance the overall guest experience.

Lancelin Stay

Great house and great location.. our only criticism was that there was no internet and you couldn’t even watch normal tv which we all thought was strange in this day and age! No aircon upstairs so it was a bit hot up there but overall house was awesome and we would stay again!

When we first arrived we were surprised as there was nowhere to hang clothes in any bedroom No bedrooms had any bedside lights Only one bath matt and 2 hand towels Back yard was unswept and the paving was full of weeds unpleasant to sit in Ants everywhere in kitchen pantry and worktops One bedroom had no pillows only cushions to sleep on with no linen for them Another bedroom had spare pillows but no linen for them Overall very disappointed we contacted the owners and advised them they thanked us for the feedback I asked for some compensation I got no response We could not recommend this property and wouldn’t go back again

Family weekender in Lancelin

Beautiful property near the beach and town centre Lovely 8 bedroom 2 storey house perfectly suited to our extended family get together weekend Large kitchen and family room with plenty of room for the kids inside and out Perhaps a separate tv room for the kids would have been beneficial ( to separate the noise ) Parking was more than adequate and the outdoor area out the back was used a lot It was a shame the builders didn’t build another bedroom or two upstairs and a balcony facing the ocean

Great Spot!

Awesome home, heaps of well thought out bedrooms. The biggest kitchen island I have seen. Enough bathrooms for all and walking distance to everything. Super clean and tidy apart from a few annoying ants!

Weekend Family Getaway

We loved staying at Ocean's 8 over the Australia Day long weekend. The house itself was amazing, with a large kitchen area and large spacious bedrooms it made for a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect, next door to the general store and only one street back from the beach and jetty. We had an amazing time with the family and would highly recommend staying here.
