Relax and unwind under gorgeous sunsets, peaceful desert landscapes, endless starry skies and of course the moon.

Located within minutes of The Integratron, Giant Rock and La Copine and a 25-minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree, @moonsetranch is the prefect desert escape with an off-the-grid feel.

This listing comes with 2 separate buildings both of which you will be given full access to. The main cabin is about 650 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The guest cabin is 425 square feet with a master bedroom, bathroom and movie theater. Both cabins have kitchens. You'll have the entirety of both cabins, the hot tub, the mini golf course and 2 1/2 fully fenced acres all to yourself.

ACCESS
My property is about 15 minutes from Yucca Valley and 25 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park Welcome Center. Access to the house is via a dirt road but it is only about a half mile off a very nicely paved road. Except in pouring rain or snow, any type of car should have no trouble accessing the property. There is plenty of parking (2.5 acres of it!). I have a lockbox with keys in it. You'll receive an access code the day of your check in.

OTHER NOTES
Use the hot tub at your own risk.

In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the house is equipped with two exterior cameras. One is by the main door facing the main gate. The other is on the north side of the house. No cameras are located inside the house and no cameras can see the front or back porch areas. These are fully private areas.

You are welcome to use the outdoor BBQ! It is propane and propane is provided.

Pets are welcome but I do charge a $50 one time pet fee. Please clean up after your pet! I have doggy bags on the bottom of the coffee stand. Pets are not allowed to be unattended in the house without use of a kennel. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and in the beds. I have pet blankets in a bin you can use on the beds and furniture.

This listing contains 2 separately permitted STR units that are being rented out together. Their permit numbers are CESTRP-2020-01129 (6 guest occupancy limit) and CESTRP-2025-00608 (4 guest occupancy limit).

We had a great stay at this home - the mini golf was a major hit with adults and kids alike, beds were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, and the movie projector was a treat. Great property! Communication was very easy and prompt. Photos accurately portrayed property. We had spent most of our time in the main house which fit the 6 of us comfortably. The comforter and bedsheets from Rest were definitely a plus! We liked them so much that we also purchased a set.Would recommend.

House was as promised: quiet, beautiful views, starry skies and just what we wanted for our Joshua Tree adventure. While we didn’t use the mini golf course it did make for super photos! It was easy to get to civilization within 20-30 minutes if you wanted it. And the park was easily accessible. Chris was very responsive and eager to share any recommendations for food or hikes. If you’re looking for quiet comfort and some open night sky this is the place

House is cozy and clean. Decorated with such an eye for mid-century, modern desert vibe; we instantly felt at home and it had all the accommodations listed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Easy drive to west entrance of Joshua Tree Nat’l Park. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was exactly what we needed. remote, quiet, secure, very comfortable, easy wifi, great communication with owner. last night, the glowing orange sunset was amazing thru the purple clouds and it sprinkled Mother Natures tears! hope to stay again soon.

Great oasis for Joshua Tree

The most relaxing stage of our So Cal road trip was at this comfortable oasis with easy access to Joshua Tree. The spacious home with full amenities helped us decompress and enjoy the starry nights and desert sunsets. My daughter loved early morning roadrunner watching, and my wife and I enjoyed the superb kitchen setup.
