We loved it
Posted Feb. 22, 2024 on HotelsVassa and the team are lovely, very welcoming and willing to assist. It’s a lovely little haven away from the hustle and bustle where you can relax away from the crowds. Good breakfast and dinner selection at the cafe again with great staff.

Understaff. Had to carry my luggages upto the room on stoned walkway. If it rains you will surely drizzle. Otherwise I was upgraded to a sea view room. The property is clean and the style is old colonial. There is a beach but I did’t feel like swimming as the water was within the breakwater protecting the airport. You can also enjoy beautiful susnet while counting aircrafts landing and taking off. It wasnt too noisy though.

Overall, the stay was pleasant with several positive aspects. The location offered tranquility and cleanliness, creating a serene environment. The highlight was the impressive sunset view. However, there were minor drawbacks, such as slightly aged doors and an issue with the gate's locking mechanism, which could be improved. Despite these minor concerns, the overall experience was positive, and the serene ambiance and cleanliness stood out as noteworthy features.

Host is great and so is the location by the beach but the suites are run down and in overall poor condition. There was a small hole in our ceiling so bugs would get in and our toilet and shower wouldn’t drain properly. Next to a swampy piece of land so lots of mosquitos at night as well.

The place is so quiet & nice. So if anyone wanna spend time alone it's the best place with this money.

Laid back accommodation on water's edge.
Posted Sep. 27, 2023 on HotelsThe owner was welcoming and helpful. Coconut Beach has a very good location- only a short drive from airport and fairly close to the SkyCable. Lovely spot on beach, with a little restaurant right on water's edge. Very good food- only ate there for breakfast, but reckon dinner would also be lovely. ( a local husband and wife run it)
The hotel has a pool, which was appealing to use. We were there in a quieter time of year, and found the hotel to be very relaxing and laid back. Stayed in many hotels in Malaysia, but remember this one.
DON'T be deterred by aircraft noise, you really don't notice it. And yes, you have to be mindful of mosquitoes- but that's the location, not the hotel.
Only thing is that more attention could be paid to maintenance, but you could say that about many places!
Yes, we enjoyed our stay and would book there again if we were to return to Langkawi.
