Excellent Beach, nice surroundings but not ready

Overall infrastructure is of great quality but has too little use and it shows. All accommodations are well fitted with equipment but sometimes equipment malfunctions, for instance, our room tv never worked and could not be fixed, our refrigerator stopped working one day but was quickly fixed. At our arrival they had no notice of reservation and it took some waiting until everything was cleared. The fact that they do not have a real check in facility is a major hassle and, in general, the place did not look ready to handle guests and is probably more fitted to handle occasional visits by proprietors who actually know what to expect from every unit. Our stay improved as the staff put more effort into pleasing the only guests they had (my wife and I) for which we are very grateful. Somethings need polishing, like having soap in the two bathrooms, and the shower is dangerously slippery, so one must wear flip-flops to use them safely. Also, the establishment should provide small bottles of repellent since the property is bordering a small lagoon and there are "jejenes" at night (very little bugs that have a very allergenic bite). Finally, no gym as of our stay.
